Open for speedpaints

by
$100/hour of drawing.

Willl need character references, pose pic or description (or artistic freedom)

You can add text and dialogues to the pic.

The price is $100/hour of work.

Usually, one character takes from 30 minutes (simple characters like ponies) to one and a half hours (cerberuses, multi limbs, wings, tattoos, complex markings), so expect to set aside at least $100 for a regular character.
The picture is small (roughly 1200 pixels on the larger side)

The payment is after I finish the pic. I'll send the pic, the screenshot of the timer and the price.

I don't draw cubs and noncon,
most other kinks including incest, vore, anthro on feral are ok

*wallet screams in terror and flees*

Love your work but 100 bucks?  Damn, AI really is killing artist livelihoods, isn't it?  Really wish that shit had never been invented, talented artists like you don't deserve to be outdone by a talentless bot.

It's a pretty reasonable price.  First, let's take the high extreme.  $100/hr * 40 hours/week * 50 weeks/year = $200,000 a year.

Now that's assuming they're doing nothing but 8 hours a day of commissions. Did they reply to you?  Because that's not included. Are they posting here?  That's not paid time either.  I think they'd be *extremely* lucky to get a third of that, so we're down to $70,000 for (quite) skilled work.

But of course this is self-employment, so they have to pay roughly double the payroll taxes.  There's no health care, no benefits at all, and no paid time off.

It can be a job at that rate, *if* people are willing to pay it pretty damn consistently. Not a great one, but a living. Otherwise it's just a bit of pocket money on the side.

Do you want people to be able to do this for a living or not?

Dude, as someone who has a deep appreciation for artwork and disdain for AI giving us no effort generated crap, I do want them to thrive as an artist but also consider that not everyone has 100 bucks to blow.

For you, this might just be chump change. But for people like me who treasure that Big Mac they can afford to splurge on once a month, its not so easy to come by that kind of money.

So before you go assuming people who recoil at a 100 dollar price tag for a "speed Paint" (meaning this isn't even this guy's top tier skill he's putting out here) are just penny pinching people who want to pay pennies for artwork, consider for a moment that maybe they litterally can't afford to do so without saving back for possibly months at a time first.

I understand that 100 is a lot of money for lots of people and i do not pretend that this is cheap. My artwork is on the expensive side of things. The are absolutely cheaper artists or there. There is ai that will do free art. There is a lot of opportunities to get art.

But if you want my art, it costs this much.

I'm not implying you should charge less. :)

It's your skill on display here and you have the right to place whatever value you want on what you think your skill is worth. :D

I'm just saying to this guy that not everyone can afford to flind 100 bucks willy-nilly.^^

IMO $100/hour is an appropriate price for someone with your skill and popularity.
It's nowhere near the highest rate in the fandom either.

Well, considering a lot of people have commissioned speedpaints, seems fair.
