I'm gonna head this one off at the pass before it becomes some sort of issue for me.

Yes, my fursona is a Dinosaur, it has been for years, many ... MANY years long before this recent attempt being made by TERFs to co-opt dinosaurs as their symbol.

I am not a feminist/ extremist/ or Anti-Trans.


Far from it, I am very much Trans-Allied, I love and support the trans community, many of the people i love and care about are trans. I do my best not to pass judgement on others, because in my view, I am in no place to judge others when I myself am easily just as easy to scrutinize.

I do not support the TERFs, until today I didn't even know that was a thing.

Now that I do know it's a thing and that they're trying to use dinosaurs to represent them... no... I am not a part of that and it pisses me off that yet another thing that should be meant for all to enjoy and love equally is now in danger of being ruined because of a select few who have a rod of hatred shoved up their ass....

I love my friends, I love the trans community, and I love dinosaurs! <3

Far-Right losers ruin everything. Whether it's 4chan making the OK gesture a hate-symbol or TERFs ruining Dinosaurs, they just can't leave well enough alone.

yeah, what strikes me as so fucking weird about this is that extreme radical feminists are allying with the Far Right, when the far right would try to shove them into an old world "home family" dynamic, getting married, having kids, etc etc, being reliant on men. that sort of thing. Everything's gone all sorts of screwy >.< I just want to exist and be happy, ya know?

The fact that you want to exist is what has them so mad. Also, TERFs are just the usual traditionalist shitheads larping as Feminists. Their whole job is to make actual Feminists look like unhinged weirdos whilst demonizing Transfolk. They've always been on the same side since the beginning.

Don't pay them any mind, but also stay safe. Especially if you live in the UK. There's a good, yet unfortunate reason why that place is referred to as "TERF Island"

This started in 2021 after a member of Parliament called them dinosaurs. They then began running around in dinosaur fursuits singing about genitals like a Newgrounds Barney animation. There's no making jokes about TERFs because they conduct themselves as a joke already.

I am sick and tired of far-right douchebags taking over symbols and things we enjoy. Hell, the hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts was the main look in Hawaii. Now no one wants anything to do with the look after the Proud boys took that look over. Then there was the OK symbol, and now dinosaurs. If another Jurassic Park comes out theres going to be a whole political thing because of this now too.

honestly if there's a line in the next jurassic movie like "They're having a Turf" war or something you KNOW it's going to be misconstrued. Hell people got upset because they shortened Pachycephalosaurus to "pachies" and took it to mean they were talking about a group of Pakistani people

No, you obviously support this group when absolutely nothing about your art or how you act suggests it. That's how it works, no matter when you have your normal, if a radical group uses your normal as a symbol for their agenda then you MUST be associated with them. I'm afraid your only option is to completely and utterly change everything about your normal to avoid this association with this radical group otherwise you'll be cancelled for no reason, no justification, and no evidence other than a coincidental outcome.

And for legal reasons, yes, this is sarcasm.

The term stands for "trans-exclusionary radical feminist." It basically is a transphobic group of people standing up for feminine rights "except transgirls, they are just guys and probably r*pists."

It's disgusting. And I thought that even before realizing I was transfem, myself.

well i can tell you from being a gray muzzle  the fan dome is soposed to be open to any sort of  fursona and i see nothing wrorng with you'rs ,  a lot of new fur's that have no real idea about being a furry  will always have to learn that if some ones  fursona dosint fit there idea then keep you'r nose in you'r own butt ;;

being in the fandom you need to realize its just not all one way , and people should help other in the fandom exle at being better by mabe helping them buy better parts for there fursuits and so on ..

I think the fact that you had to clarify that shows a much deeper problem with humanity as a species (and it's not the existence of TERFs).

It's more the witch-hunting of people that someone thinks is associated with a group they don't like simply for having something that associates them with that group.

People seem to so badly want homogeneity that they're attacking each other for things that could either be talked out or aren't even true.

When homogeneity is boring as fuck and I'll kms the moment everything I love is illegal because heavens forbid we are individuals with likes and preferences.

people have always despised and hated things that are different from their MO in some way or form. this has been the case for as long as humanity has survived. if you're not a part of their specific circle/ culture/ needs for survival in some way, and what you do bring and provide does not mesh with their own hard wired ideals, the reaction is a visceral rejection. To cast out that which "Does not fit" and Embrace more "that which does" more commonly seen today as Echo Chambers. That is human nature and people will often come up with crafty and underhanded ways to get the masses to take their perspective. Fear tactics being an often used and popular format.

Humanity fails as a species because we as a greater majority have forgotten how to trust one another, to live and let live. There is no longer a goal of greater societal growth and progress, it is all about the well being of one's self first, and immediates second at best everything else is tertiary and takes a distant back seat. We spend so much time fighting over petty issues, delusions of grandure, religion, enforced ideals, that common courtesy is no longer common, why be compassionate to your neighbor when it is easier to ignore them and state that it's not your problem?

Why take the time to show the human side of humanity, when that makes production less and results in a potential net loss of profits and personal gain? To help one's fellow man is to lose time and money, and in doing so, lose one's sense of humanity as well. Look upon the world and see how far we have fallen over our trivial squabbles.... and take heed the lessons, lest we all become misers and scrooges of the worst kind.

Didn't even know what a TERF was till you pointed it out and had to look it up. Just scummy people trying to cause issues cause they can. Awful sorts. And they can't co-opt Dinos for their message, Dinos are awesome.
