First of, Hi! I am Inkwolf, adult furry artist and webcomic author since 2015 who has been active almost exclusively on FurAffinity up until now. Quick clarification, my online profiles go by the name of SnowLeandre after the protagonist of my comics, Leandre Snow. But I personally (the artist) go by Inkwolf. Recent events, not just the currently ongoing one (Do not go to FA right now! As of writing, the domain is currently compromised and may be unsafe to visit!), once again made it clear to me that you really need more than just one place for your art and for staying in touch with people. You're just one hack or outage away from losing contact to most of your creative friends if you rely on just one single page. And as much as I value FurAffinity, without any judgement towards the staff or anyone associated with it, it hasn't always been the most stable option.
So, I decided to finally get it done and port some of my more important work over here as well. Starting with my currently ongoing comic "Leandre in Otherside" Some background info on that comic, it is the 5th main line comic in a series of "Leandre comics". While there are some minor references to previous comics here and there, they are all written to be self-contained stories which can be read without knowledge of the prior entries. So if this is the first of my work you come across, you can still read it without having to hunt down the previous comics. The general idea of these stories is to explore a variety of obscure internet fetishes in a comedic way. I find it genuinely interesting, endearing and extremely funny to hear about all the different things people find sexy, probably because I have a healthy amount of obscure kinks myself. So in every episode of the comics, a peppy snow-leopard journalist who couldn't tell a red flag if it was flapping vigorously into her face gets herself into a different flavour of trouble.
Otherside specifically started in 2021 and got it's first 45 pages done before it sadly had to go on hiatus about a year ago due to real life events and a small touch of artistic burnout. A lot of that has been resolved by now and I was about to announce it's continuation on FA this week... but then of course the hack happened and anything FA-related had to be delayed a little bit longer. So for now, my plan is to re-upload all the 45 pages that had already been published here on Inkbunny too, which I will probably do at a rate of 1-2 pages each day. Then once that's done, uploads are going to slow down again as the pages beyond that point haven't been made yet. I will have more information regarding the continuation of the comic by the time that's done.
Another small thing, I also took this opportunity to make a Bluesky account. I am usually not a big fan of the Twitter-style of structuring posts, but sometimes you have to give new things a chance too. The idea is to use FurAffinity and Inkbunny for my finished art pieces and more carefully curated galleries, while Bluesky will be used for my more unfiltered thoughts, unfinished ideas, sketches that went nowhere and talking about which video game character I found hot that week.If that sounds mediocrely interesting to you, you may find me at https://bsky.app/profile/snowleandre.bsky.social
