Short URL account Hijacked - DON'T CLICK!

The affected URLs have been updated to a new service and they are now working properly!

Hi UWExplorers,
This might sound sudden, but i was notified on something suspect going on some of my accounts.
My previous ShortURL services have been reported and suspeded by people that, well to put it nicely, don't like UW Peril content. And that's understandable.

To fight this i of course made more accounts, and since i wasn't stopping somebody hijacked the account from the service i'm using and changed all the destinations to other websites.

Do not. And i repeat DO NOT CLICK THE SHORT.AT URL UNTIL I FIND AN ALTERNATIVE.

I can't delete my account as they changed everything and support isn't replying.

As i'm writing this i'm exhausted and i can't do this right now, and i know i've been silent for a long time but believe me, i care and i do continue to care about my content. But this is pretty much an emergency i HAVE to address.

So please be patient and wait a couple days as i change and check all the URLs.

Getting so sick of all this hate, honestly...i hope it's because it's the UW peril content and not because i stopped doing requests, because believe me, i got attacked a lot for that too and it's discouraging see people calling me "a sell out" when i don't even earn all that much from my subscribestar page.

Unfortunate, but thanks for the heads-up. If it is the case that these hijackings are being performed by people who are opposed to the kind of content you make, then it is inexcusable for them to exercise their dislike this way. It is one thing to dislike something; it is another thing entirely to sabotage someone else because of feelings.

What makes you assume it is a targetted attack?
The links are fairly random but monetizable spam links. Feels to me like a broad automated attack.

it could be that people can track and trace it back to the source

but either than that idk, aside from that it never hurts to make sure that hackers don't take control of their account since

I really like their animations and even feel like I wanna collab with them at some point

(although I'm just getting back in the swing of things XD)

It's just that every account i have gets reported and blocked by the service. All the visitors come from here, and after that a report is filed. The way i know that is because by today's standard, 90% of the shortURL services gives this kind of tracking. There's a follower with a malicious intent at this point.

I can only guess that since i just resorted to switch services (bit.ly and tinyURL and another one have been reported and so they blocked the private server) whoever hates my guts felt the need to do something stronger. Other short URLs from this service works, except mine that sends people to a central domain that in addition has another website an user gets directed to (and it's something random and spammy, yeah).

Lucky they aren't that many, just the short.at service has been violated. Old Bit.ly and TinyURL links seems to be working properly, since even after blocking the private server they still need to provide service for any older short URL they generated. I just can't put newer ones into place.

Now that i slept on it i'll just say: fu*k them.
They hate UW perils? Tough break. I'll change the URLs again.
They hate me for not giving out free slideshows? That's on them, not me.

It'll take an harder effort to take me off this platform!
