I'm thinking about doing some A.I. art...

Hello!

I haven't posted a journal for months! Anyway, I'm thinking about doing some A.I. furry cartoon pictures, but I don't know... most people hated A.I. for personal reasons and I can understand why.

Should I make art made from A.I. or not? Just asking.

I wouldn't suggest it, since so many here feel that images generated by AI are not art, so...

I say no, ai art is completely ugly and it just takes away the purpose of being an real artist. Your art is way better.

I tried AI art before and it never turns out how I wanted it to look, both nsfw and sfw.

I do like some AI artwork, but always notice a specific style with it that I can recognize. I still stick with commissioning artists for artwork because they at least have an understanding of what I want them to make. And even if they don’t, I can at least show them references with other pics.

Yeah, I agree with you, I've been using AI lately and sometimes they just don't know what I'm talking about. I was trying to do this threesome picture, but A.I. just always made it worse and worse... ugh. I can only do one character only. :-/

I might do a webcomic series, but I won't use A.I.

If you really want to then yeah, go ahead, but if you're seriously asking this rando on the Internet I'd say no, you shouldn't. Even putting aside the serious issues (ethical and otherwise) associated with machine generated images, there's also the fact that it has a very distinct "look". I haven't hated every single picture that's come out of an image generator, but machine generated pictures stand out in a way that usually isn't good, and I would always encourage an artist to work on and improve their own work and expand on their own style rather than post processed stuff.

Not for nothing, but machine pictures are usually a crapshoot as well. It's depressingly difficult to get a machine to draw a picture you'd actually like, and in terms of getting exactly what you want it's basically impossible.

I won't go too far with AI... Well, I kind of did recently, but I won't make comics made from A.I.
