I have several ideas and thoughts on Mathew's Plans, so if your really are interested just read.
So, serious mode for a bit. Been looking back on everything. I found a website that is basically devoted to fan fiction so I ended up going back and rewriting my pokemon story. It took some work since I went back to the original files and rewrote and edited from there, some of it was truly horrid since they were not the edited version that were posted.
Now moving on I'm heading toward Mathew's plans. I've always wanted to finish the story plus I had half written out a prequel for Carla and Elroy which never made it to the computer. I AM planning on at least putting out another chapter, or well finish the third part of the third chapter of Tying up Lose Ends. I've already edited out half the chapter and started working out the second half.
My thought is do I go back to the beginning and rework the entire story? Or do I just post out the new work and move on. Second part is do I go ahead with the prequel as well, that isn't more than a notebook or so of writing of half a chapter so definitely incomplete.
Guess my real thought is, are people interested in the story still. It's been a decade, though I do remember what was originally titled “My day, my sister.” A half worked piece with no real editing that I posted on SoFurry mainly because I was trying to figure out how to upload a story since I had only done it once and wasn't quite sure how to do it right. 24 favs, 6 votes, and 5 comments and one major shock had me rip the thing down two days later then post the first finished chapter of Mathew's Plans five days later. Back then I made a promise to myself that I would do my best.
And looking back I can see my BEST was, well not that great but I know many people enjoyed the Ideas of my stories and were polite enough about the massive amount of mistakes that I kept going.
Just my thoughts, rambling and otherwise. I will be working on this, and probably get back to a few other ones as well, my real question is how far should I go. This is posted on both SF and IB though sadly I can not post the actual story on SF but I know there are still those out there who did read the original works there.
