I am very saddened by this news.
Bob Newhart played Professor Proton from The Big Bang Theory, Papa Elf from Elf; and, most importantly to me, Bernard from The Rescuers.
Sure, he was 94, so I was expected to be soon. But that doesn't make the news much easier.
