I was just thinking about these and... there will never be a "good" place or time to share these, but also some of the are too ridiculous not to share at some point.
Infinite: Is my 3rd recurring character (you've never met the first two I promise you XP) and he got his name based on a single line in a dumb 2002 Eddie Murphy movie. "You might as well tattoo infinity on that arm cuz you know I'm never gonna lose" In my defence- I was a particularly stupid teenager. and drew a lot more fight scenes.
addition - part of why that happened was a running comic idea I had was that Infinite kept getting tally marks stitched into his bandana every time he got into a fight and won, until they just traded it out with an infinity symbol. A detail that is mosdtly off the page now.

Candi: Candi's full name Is Candice Caine. It's a pun, but one that came loooong after her initial conception. But she was drawn for the first time as a venting piece after the last time I went trick or treating....we got jumped and mugged. That happened. Kind ironic she became one of my most consistantly used characters after that.

I forget why Max aka Tank exists. I think I needed a character to practice drawing muscles. (cub Tank is tall and thick. Adult tank is canonically shredded) I mostly just thought it was funny to make a small animal the most physically imposing.... and then also make him the chillest beach bum on the block. (I like my contradictions)
As a teen I was the guy who gave everyone their nicknames (not a fact I'm proud of mind you). Except for one of my friends. Whose nickname was applied by his dad, and I immediately adopted. Tank is named after that friend

I used to pick names at random. And would realize well after I'd drawn them many times that I'm named them after an aunt a cousin... or in one specifically awkward case, my sister.... This is why you will likely never see them again

So yeah most of my characters were created and named by an idiot teenager XP
