I also think that objectively, even outside the userbase, Twitter/X is bad for portfolio since there is no archive search mode (just endless scrolling unless you have the direct link) and they compress the pics and gifs thus making it risky for preservation.
But as the fanbase even when making stuff that are neither cub, cest (or even feral) they'd find a way to call an artist or art problematic...

yeah, x is a bit annoying when trying to find anything (honestly not sure as of yet if bluesky is much different🤔), the biggest reason for me trying bluesky is that i want to try a platform for general/casual rambling (although i have only posted art so far haha😅) and x is not a very good place for that. also i don't want to spam people's notifications with journals here too much :>
