Yes, the sad part is that non-native English speakers have better grammar and spelling than English speakers. Then they often end up apologizing for any mistakes in their English. I have many times given reassurance to those non-native English speakers and writers that they're doing a better job than my fellow English speakers. Heck, because of that, I have a liff that's currently still looking for a good sniglet:
