Terms and Conditions for commissions as of 9/12/12
Ok, legalese isn't my main language, so I'll just use this to get some ideas down.
I'll be taking commissions one at a time. I'll announce openings on Journals on InkBunny, SoFurry and FurAffinity as I feel comfortable. I'll then announce whose request I'll take. I'll try to bias to those I haven't gotten to and have been trying before. But my writing is slow, my muse random and stubborn, and I've given away too many promises I then broke before to want to promise anything anymore. Also, I reserve the right to not accept every commission I see offered up. My muse can be a finicky jerk, and somethings I'm just not comfortable writing.
Price wise, it starts at $30. However, I'll add an additional $10 for rough kinks like snuff, vore, heavy bondage, and other things that one may consider 'squicky'. What's that, that's half the stuff I write? Yup, but I want to mix things up and not just be that 'snuffie' author. Also, I may change this as I continue to take these. I'll announce when prices are changed in a journal.
As for length, I aim for 2000-3000 words. If it ends up less, I'll usually knock off some. If it looks like it'll take longer, I may request additional costs if I suspect I'll go over these word counts, but I will give an estimate first before I write. If I get in the groove and crank out 5000 pages but didn't ask for more money in advance, lucky for you and my muse. If you want something longer I am less likely to go for it... but not always completely adverse.
Payment is taken half after the first draft is complete. Half after the product is finished. This way if something comes up and payments don't work out I don't have to finish it. But also puts emphasis on me to finish proofreading (yuck) and finish things completely. Yeah, proofreading is my least favorite part.
I reserve the right to cancel a commission if I find myself unable to complete it in a reasonable manner. Some days I just have a bad time, and need to come back to it another day, so it may not mean I won't ever finish it.
And onto the list of things I'm not as keen writing on. Things with these themes may be less likely to be accepted. Including but not limited to...
Rule 34 with canon characters (in universe I don't mind, it's kinda odd)
excessive gore and or pain
rape
non consensual
Scat
I'll add more as I think them up. This doesn't mean I won't write these... but I'm just less likely. Some days I'm in better moods and more likely to take on harder things. And some days my muse is feeling like a wuss =P
