Hi everyone, you're not gonna believe this journal post but according to the character designer for Sonic Team, Kazuyuki Hoshino, he said that Rouge The Bat is canonically a Latina. Why? Because in real life (IRL), white bats (like Rouge's design) are from Honduras (which are Honduran White Bats btw). So, her characteristics is based on Latina which explains about her eye makeup. Also, Rouge mentioned on several occasions that she has back pain. That topic really explains the solution to the "Shadow The Hedgehog loves Latinas" meme LOL. But, I hope you enjoy that topic.
