anyways, yeah it's kind of annoying to get spammed with requests. I just respond with "I'll be glad to sell you a commission of it" and then they typically don't respond again, but that's just the normal requesters nonsense.

Reminds me of when I did requests back on Tumblr. Some dude tried to get me to draw for him despite telling him to wait, telling him to just commission some if he wanted it drawn so badly, gave me excuses like "oh I don't have the money" or "oh it would just make me happy". I would say it's still roughly accurate; the reason why people tend to wait longer is because they forget about it or get busy with other things or can't decide on a concept and don't check in for a while. That's kind of the X factor with regards to commission frequency. Though if I did try to factor that in, I'd say it's more like once a year.
