About AI art.

I've received the messages accusing me of undermining civilization by posting AI generated art.

I was never a great artist, but I enjoyed drawing. Five years ago I had a stroke. Since then I can't print legibly and drawing has been right out. AI has suddenly let me give form to what I've had in my mind all this time. I won't post any more of it here, because it apparently offends a lot of people. But I will continue to create it and enjoy the results.

and I feel for you, I mean I had some difficulties myself and had to re-learn drawing, which obviously still wasn't as good as you but yea, I can't do at all computer line art though, the results are terrible. And sometimes I'm less able to sometimes more.

Keep doing what you do. While I'm sad to hear what happened to you, I am glad that you've been able to find a way to give your art an outlet.
I'm by no means a great artist and I wish I had the money to afford to commission others and help support the artists I'm a fan of, but I don't. AI generators have helped me get ideas and at least have a general idea of what the jumbled messes in my head should look like, with a higher quality than I could ever produce. Corporate greed aside, AI art generators are an amazing tool for making art more readily available to the masses, and I for one will always advocate for the easier spread of art.
