Sorry to hear about your account. Though I used BlueSkye not so long as well, untill I got banned for posting Digimons there and my OCs since apparently someone consider smaller characters as minors and deleting accounts without warning for that. So personaly I wouldn't suggest to use it as well.

LOL, going to Instagram is like going from the walled-pan into the deep-pit fire. We're about at pendulum-swing time on platforms owned by a single entity. Then they'll get popular again, because that's what people do. Or it could be a saturated market, and I'm entirely wrong. :Shrugs: Who knows?
Too bad Discord and ImgUr and Reddit are just as bad if not worse. Bluesky and Mastodon look interesting as less-awful platforms. We need protocols and federation, not 'platforms' (marketing people saying the quiet part out loud with that word).
I guess Instagram is OK for the social aspect, but exposure-wise, it's a black box/hole. People outside of it literally can't see anything inside the box. If you only show art there, you'll get a lot of friction.

I for sure reccomend, Bluesky is still getting its footing so to speak so it wont hurt to wait a bit, i do have a extra invite link if you cant get in yet too.
