Na but really just deal with what comes it really is all you can do. I've had more than a few knock backs the past while and recovery always seems slower than the last. Still dealing with my knee from when I fell 2 years ago. Just do what you can to keep healthy and safe.

Getting old is often looked upon as being a negative, when it should be looked upon as being something to strive for, in spite of the myriad potential health issues that often times come along with aging. It sure beats the alternative. ;-)
I stopped going to fur cons because it felt too awkward being old enough to be the father or even grandfather most of the other attendees.
And yes, I know that I am probably too old to be using a character from a kids' cartoon as my avatar, but I don't care. 😆

No I still go to cons, though this year will make half a century. Up until last year I was running Fursuit games for two cons plus the adult fursuit games at one. Sadly this year I didn't have enough time or money to attend both but I did end up as the Fursuit lead for the con I did go which meant organizing all the events, running lounge, and all the other things. Plus I run the hydration station on the party floor serving hotdogs. I can still run with the pups but only had time to fursuit for myself once. *sigh* Either way I don't worry cause I gots a secret. I look younger than I am, sometimes much younger. Still have all my hair though sadly it's starting to truly gray out this year. But I remember getting carded for lotto ticket when I was 27, at the point in time I worked at a restaurant and the person asking was at a store down the street. Had to look at them and say, "You do realize I've served you beer several times right?" I don't mind being older and peeps never guess my age correctly which is always fun. Cause I'm super horrible at guessing.

Ha-ha! I can relate to looking younger than I am. The last time I got carded was back when I was somewhere around 28, I think. I don't recall my exact age, but needless to say I was flattered as hell. LOL
I am a little over a decade your senior and still have most of my hair and people still tell me that I don't look my age. It must be all of the preservatives in the foods that I've been eating all my life and definitely not genetics. 😆
Who knows, perhaps some day I'll check out another con to see what's at the dealer's den. Maybe I'd even bump into an old friend.
