Pc …kaputt

by
So my pc was running and I had a nap when I came in the room the leds ( fans and all are with leds ) where on and all the fans are on full blast , black screen and the off button on the pc didn’t work , so I did cut the power . After that I try to turn the pc on , all the led are on and just one fan where running . I turned it off pulled out the gpu checked some cables and pulled the ram out and put it back it . Than I put a new bios batterie in . Now all fans are running when I turn on the pc but still black screen .
The LEDs that show you the status of the mother board CPV VGA and so on are not on .

I pulled the gpu out and put it back in .

The on Button still just turns the fans on and nothing is happening beides fans on and LEDs on .

Pc is rather new got it just last year so yeah … shitting situation

I am a bit angry that I let the pc run while I was napping but I was not expecting that to be an issue

Yeah. Leaving a PC running should not be an issue. I hope you can get it repaired. PC troubles are always infurating.

I've built and repaired (brought back from death) a few PCs in my life. If you have black screen and nothing is happening, that's not a good sign. Still, there are troubleshooting steps one takes.

1. BEFORE anything else!!! You should turn off the PC, pop the Power cable out to avoid little shocks, and look inside the case and look for visible damage! Brown area where heat builds up is easy to spot. Then again, my cousin's GPU card had the very cheapest of capacitors on it, and three of them were open at the top. Capacitors (the electrolytic kind) are usually round, tube-like and have a aluminium cap with a visible "K" on top it. That GPU had 3 busted capacitors and the top were opened, and the fluid were out. The damage was visible, as the motherboard had this honey-like crud on it, and dust was sticking to it anyways. Look for these tube-shaped capacitors and check if any top isn't busted open. It's a quick eye check. Use a lamp for better visual, and also look for visible pollution like said electrolyte fluid or burn marks. Hopefully the problem isn't hardware based! If so, my cousin switched out the three busted capacitors and the GPU worked again flawlessly.

2. On the motherboard, these should be a little speaker/beeper, which beeps when some hardware is missing or malfunctioning. Example: If you didn't have RAM inside, you SHOULD hear the loud beeping, as a warning, that a essential element is missing. Just take out the RAM and see if the motherboard starts to scream. If yes, then it functions as an "essential element tester". If it doesn't beep with no RAM, then Motherboard died...

3. The OFF button of the case/box always works, unless it is broken. When you press it long (4+ seconds) it turns off the power, no matter what. That shouldn't be the source of the problem anyways.

4. Try the minimal setting: Motherboard, CPU+fan, Ram, GPU, Keyboard and power suply. No HDD and other stuff like wi-fi usb receivers or mouse even needed. When you turn this setting on, the BIOS booting should be visible. If you got black screen, then your HDD and other stuff isn't the problem as they aren't plugged in.

5. The goal is to get that BIOS booting screen. If that gets started, then your base PC is okay. If it's still black screen (Can't even hear the startig short BEEP from motherboard) then something got fried and needs replacement. If the BIOS screen starts, then maybe the HDD/system died on you, but I doubt that.

I cleared the cmoss a few times
I flashed the bios again

The off bottom does not work because the pc does not post , it does not load anything

I switched out the ram spots tryed only one stick and so on

No sounds form the board I don’t think the board has a speaker anymore . The LEDs for debugging showing nothing .

No post no bios no life

But thanks for your tips

Some motherboards don't have the error beeper/speaker on them, but have it in the package as a round physical object, that can be put on to a double pin at the right spot for it, that s usually noted in the manual.

But if the MB isn't starting the BIOS procedures, then it's either the motherboard's fault, OR the Power Supply. The Power Supply error is easy to rule out, just need to use a spare. Maybe ask for a working one from a friend/relative just to check and make sure, that it does the same as yours. Once the other pow.sup. does nothing/the same as yours, then you most likely pinpointed your Motherboard to be dead/damaged. It will be either fixed/repaired OR switched out for another one! I had my first PC's MB switched to another one as well, and it was the latest model, and even had an integrated sound card on it, which was neat-o! I was almost happy about my MB dying, but I had 2 week to wait to pick up the new one. I had played my trusty Gameboy until then. No internet (and naughty furry stuff) for me, and that was a bit hard.

Lets hope that it was just the Motherboard, that got damaged, and your other pieces are okay! You'll get further, once the good MB will be with you! Be ready for asking/getting new hardware pieces, if some did got damaged, as you may get the Error Beeps from the new board, signalling that some crucial element is also dead! Lets hope it's just the MB alone, and other things are fine and working!

No problem. I enjoy working on PC stuff, be it Software or Hardware. Once I have learned from my cousin how to build my own PC and how to install & fix software on it, it was essentially a training on how to bring any PC to life, either by building a new one, or fixing a problem with it! A very useful knowledge, and it should be a taught class in elementary school!!!! Every schooled person should be able to just build their setup from zero to 100%!

I'm pretty sure the MB is dead., the spinning fans and no other sings of life is the clue.
Very rare it's a sign of low cmos battery and/or corrupt BIOS, but it's a new computer  and you did  re-flashed the bios , so most likely it's  the MB.

step one: borrow a PSU from someone and check out if your pc boots with different PSU, i had the 4 pin cpu bus on PSU die producing similar results
