When I made the glitz comic I wanted to do everything I could to create something groundbreaking, and I think I failed pretty hard. I regret not studying dialogue and writing techniques, as I now look at it and find that it lacks the intrigue that I wanted it to have. I wrote the backstory instead of hinting at it, and I wrote inside the characters' minds which made it bland and uninteresting. I was really just trying to put more text in the boxes so people would spend more time on each page. I thought that would make it memorable, but I think it just made it into another mediocre "porn plot."
I'd like to try to improve everything on a second chapter, but the idea of a comic with inconsistent quality bothers me. I had a lot of passion behind it, but I didn't reach my goal. I think I might try writing another small comic to test out my approach. I fear the unspoken criticism that people may have in their minds in regards to glitz:mm ch 1. I think look like a 13 yo on deviantart trying to make a shitty naruto fancomic/ripoff.
