PalWorld was released yesterday and I been having a blast, its been a long time sense I enjoy such a game. I am level 13, but have about 8 hours into the game so have the base start. Also sense I have the game pass I was able to get it for the subscription of it, ether for PC or Xbox. On steam it is 30 dollars, a steal at this point.
Think of Sword and shield, with breath of the wild with climbing, heat and cold and maybe look, and add Ark survival mechanics, building system and level up system, you get PalWorld.
Plus, other than a few and far between crashes with a pretty good auto save the game runs very smooth. The Jank is very low and very little lag, this game is more polished than most survival games I play that are or were in early access. Pal's you not using can be used for your base for many things, from planting, water and harvesting berry crops, to laying eggs, shed wool and even harvest nearest tress and rocks. But make sure you have the right Pals to do this and keep an eye also in there attributes. Combat is simple to start with just clubbing Pals to capture them, to the point you can use bows and arrows with Pals helping you to fight them and also poachers.
Ok negatives, I HATE the tech point idea, this was a negative on Ark to me where they give you slim points to unlock recipes. Also pathing at base could use some work as well, you want to make sure all your crafting benches are outside if you want your Pals to use them to make items for you.
All and all, this is a nice game, at 30 dollars at this point I call a steal, it also has multiplayer with friend codes and if 4Play tells me some sites have already server services for the game.
