That's crazy because it happened to me the exact same way! My aunt from Mexico (R.I.P.) ran an ice cream shop in front of her house (most properties was a house/store combo; building codes are weird), and in the entrance hallway was enough for just two arcades. In addition to Darkstalkers, she also housed Alien vs. Predator, and the next time I visited for vacation she had Metal Slug 2. The ice cream shop's gone now, but not the memories.

Sadly I don't have any photos. This was back in the late 1990's to early 2000's, before iPhones. I even double checked the Google Maps and some of my family albums for possible pictures of the location, but aside from the usual get-togethers with my relatives I don't have any from the outside. I used to visit Mexico a lot when I was younger, but that all ended following some passings of our relatives; now it's just my parents doing the visiting. Lot of great memories when I was there but they're now just that, memories.

hmm, hard to say since it was so long ago, it could have been as early as Tiny Toons but I was like 5 when that show came out so I doubt I understood anything like that back then. Now you got me wondering if it was Callie Briggs from Swat Kats or Princess Sally (both of whom I was exposed to around the same time in 1993) or if it took until I saw Minerva Mink in Animaniacs since by then I was actually starting puberty

oh Animalympics is way way old, there are alot of sexy firrys... kitty mambo the lioness and marathon runner, Barbara Worblers the flamingo reporter, The Cntessa a hungarian eagle who fences, Ludmilla Steponyatova the elephant who does gymnastics...and of course Tatyana Tushenko the ferret... the movie is super old and therefore kinda racist but hella fun

But I would have to say my first real run in with Furries or Anthro content was with Pollyester from Samurai Pizza cats, or anything with Tinytoons. Though it would not be for a couple more years before I would get internet access and finding all the NSFW art of both those shows.
