Normally, i want to have a nice, celebrating Christmas in a happy ending, but alas... I need something to get off my chest...
I have a user who goes by the name of Mysteriousisland, who does a inspiration artwork of The Jungle Book, featuring his OC Gunniver living in the jungle island with unique animals as well as humiliation with his red loincloth that he called "Foxbutt" like tug of war to exposing his bare butt.
Normally, its all just a cute and fun artwork for just another inspired artist after The Jungle Book (i know im one, so no judgement). I enjoy his artwork for its art style, a humor and the art design of loincloth, i know people comparing it as diaper, but its more like a thick langot (one of the type of loincloth) made out of cotton, just saying.
But sadly, everything went down from hill that before we cap off this year, my favorite user was attacked by a so-call "fan" for having the audacity of making a disgusting artwork and controversially crediting to him without permission, which it unfortunately hurting not just his artwork, but also his passion project outside of Inkbunny of a novel, which it feared him that everyone are accusing him to a pedo. Which i don't understand what did he do, its just a fun artwork than promoting a real life pedophile, which i've already made a rant to get off my chest:
I tried to tell him via private chat to keep his Inkbunny stay on, it wasn't just me, but also he has a fans, it would've been ok to make an announcement on journal for what happened, otherwise, without warning, it makes everyone going upset for losing our favorite user, all because one user had the audacity to make gross fanart to make my favorite user look bad, when ITS JUST A FUCKING ARTWORK THAN REAL LIFE PEDO!!
Like i always said, we always like to drawing for fun, not promoting a real life disgusting act like pedo, it sickens to my stomach that everyone starts taking those artwork way too seriously to making them look bad to making conspiracies or even having the audacity to posting threats or status to announcing "This person is a pedo and stay away!", i understand that, but the biggest problem is we need is "Evidence" if some users are either hitting in with minors in online, IRL or maybe both. But for my favorite user like MysteriousIsland, he doesn't deserve to be falsely accused, when again, its just artworks for fun than promoting pedophelia, i know this might hurt his passion project for the sake of different identity, but its hard to make an easy exposure, but what it hurts me is when some user make a personal attack in a false accusation, that caused one user calling quit or worst case, committing suicide, like one user from many years ago who not only falsely accused as pedo, but also got his identity exposed, which it got so bad that he took his own life. But if this happens to Mysteriousisland, i don't want to losing him so badly, because in private, we're good friends, i understand its for the attempt of keeping secret of different identity with a uneasy execution of comparison art style, but there's no reason to treating one person look bad, it hurts not just the passion project, but also his friends and fans because of accuser who likes to make a fisgusting content to make a false accusation.
This is clearly a Cancel Culture when it comes to a freedom of artwork when people like Mysteriousisland is falsely accused as pedo over the artwork to completely ruining his passion of artwork and his passion project or even me that i got wrongfully suspended back in September as Mature915...! This seriously need to stop falsely accusing anyone as a pedo over the artwork, all we need is to accusing some users as pedo over exposure behind the artwork like disgusting date/RP, domestic arguments/violence and others, than the artworks. This needs to change over the pedo accusation, we need to focus on accusation over the privacy than artworks, im tired of this drama of Cancel Culture.
I know some people will give a devided thought, its just that i need to get off my chest since we lost one of my favorite user Mysteriousisland. Im not saying he committed suicide, im saying it got himself so bad that he lost his passion and deactivating his account because of the Cancel Culture that ruining his freedom of artworks...
Oh, is that so? I got surprised that he disappeared from this site, and now you telling these info about what had happened, hardly can I express how flabbergasted I am. It is neigh inevitable for popular artists that some "so called fans" will deliberately harass and badmouth them, and do stuff even more wicked and wilder than the case what happened with Mysteriousisland. Such harshness and trollism, as if they think that it will be better for them emotionally if they cause trouble for others.
