Quick PSA!

Because I've been seeing it crop up a LOT lately:

The only people who are allowed to use my art and uploads without my permission are the artists who drew the individual pieces. Artists are, of course, welcome to use anything they've drawn for me in their own portfolios or to advertise their commission styles. <3 Or anything else in their TOS's that I happily agreed to in order to commission them.

Been getting tipped off that my art's been being stolen lately, posted on places like F-List (especially the carwash pic set!). This isn't cool, and I've had to file some takedowns already. And I'll continue to do so, because these are my characters, my brainchildren, my creations. And I am not a fan of anyone trying to pass off my efforts as theirs. ^^;

I'm sorry you had to deal with people treating you and your characters with such disrespect. It's shameful how grabby some people can be. You deserve way better than that, and fingers crossed that the takedowns work, and you won't have to deal with too much of this nonsense.

I really hate to hear this happen so often, and it's also why I absolutely refuse to use F-list. It's truly rude to pass off someone elses' art/characters off as your own, and the fact I see it happen time and time again is truly aggravating.

At least my wroth is a lot less at people who get the "hey, please don't use my art" email/comment and they apologize and comply. Shows they're not completely lost to the darker side of the fandom.
