Recently a friend of mine has been antagonized for their socially questionable fetishes, here's what I think:
People need an outlet for their desires, or they will act on them to create one. If they like underaged characters, so what?
You can't just delete or condition away a person's sexual desires, many have tried that already, it only elicits self-destructive behavior.
If you let people acknowledge their desires, and act them out in a controlled manner, such as with fiction, they can control them.
Pictures and stories are works of fiction, the characters depicted don't exist. -Nobody is harmed by it.-
If they enjoy fiction more than the real thing, which I can certainly say is true in regards to my muscle and size fetishes, then they will eventually lose interest in it.
I like people that don't exist, I have no means to create those people, and I'm stuck fapping to furry porn. I have to deal with zero interpersonal drama because nobody who exists can satisfy my kinks, the romantic relationships I do have do not have a sexual aspect, and I like it that way. Everyone wins.
