Evelin is walking along the road. She looked at the sky. There was a battle going on. Nazo and Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow were fighting. When the battle was over the team split up. He kept walking and thinking. He felt like the end of the world when he saw the battle. He kept walking. A few years later. Still walking, he saw a chaos emerald. He picked it up and put it away. Then Nazo appears.
Nazo: Give it to me or you're finished.
Evelin just watched. She didn't know what she wanted from him. Suddenly he speaks.
Evelin: I don't know what you want but you can go.
Nazo: Then you're finished.
She summons a shiny ball in the palm of her hand and starts throwing it at him. Evelin quickly dodges it.
Nazo: Who are you?
Evelin: Never mind who I am!
Nazo growls and attacks her with more and more orbs. Evelin defended each one with her shield. Evelin thinks to herself.
Evelin: Thanks angel and demon.
Demon: God, an opponent like that.
Angel: Don't take his name in vain!
Evelin: Can we discuss this later? We have more important things to discuss than you and your arguments.
Demon: Fine.
Angel: You're right.
Author's note: Evelin sees the figure of the demon and the angel. Something else is that shield summoning demon and angel must be in harmony or it won't happen. Back to the story.
Nazo: It's over you... How are you alive?
Evelin: I'm not one of those people who dies instantly. I don't want to die here yet.
Evelin could see he was angry but he came close and hit him. Evelin just flew for a while and hit the nearest tree. Evelin falls to the ground. Just as Nazo is aiming at Evelin and was about to shoot a ball of light at her. It's coming towards her. Evelin thinks.
Evelin: This is not good. I can't summon shield because demon and angel are out. Just in time. Is this the end? Am I supposed to die like this? I can't give up.
The body hasn't moved at all.
Evelin: It hit me so hard I can't move. It seems I had a good life while it lasted.
Then someone stood in front of her and defended her. Evelin looked to see who it was. It was Knuckles.
Knuckles: You again? How are you not dead?
Nazo: Well, well, well, Knuckles. Look who my eyes can see. It's been a long time. Enough of this talk. Give me the chaos emerald.
Knuckles: No!
Nazo: This is your last hour!
Knuckles starts fighting Nazo. Evelin slowly crawls to her feet. Evelin to herself.
Evelin: I don't know where this guy came from, but thank God.
Angel: I still have a bit of a headache. Are you okay?
Evelin: I'm fine. I'm just a little sore all over.
Angel: You know what we need to do?
Evelin: Yes, I know. But it takes time.
Angel: Okay.
Evelin starts to heal herself.
Author's note: Evelin can heal from the angel part. On the demon's part, it can bring sickness.
After the fight, Knuckles is on the ground. Evelin has not yet finished healing herself. She was about to shoot Nazo when someone hit her with an energy ball. It was a small fox. Nazo turns around and walks close to it. Evelin quickly walks over to him. Nazo is about to aim the orb at her and start firing. Before he could reach the orb Tails quickly pushed Evelin Tails to avoid hurting her. Evelin suffered the effects of the orb.
Tails: Why?
Tails gets down on all fours and starts crying. Knuckles could only watch and even the whole thing and just got angry. He starts to hit the ground. Knuckles got up angry and started attacking Naz harder. Sonic got there, but he saw Evelin on the ground. Sonic goes over to Tails.
Sonic: What happened?
Tails tells the whole story. Sonic begins to transform into Dark Sonic.
Tails: Sonic? Calm down! This is not the answer.
Sonic noticed that he was worried about Tails so he stayed in it.
Sonic: You're right dude. Grab me and take him away! It wouldn't be good to leave him in a battle space.
Tails: What about you?
Sonic: Me? Nothing, because Knuckles is going to help me.
Tails grabs Evelin and starts flying. Nazo aims at them but Sonic starts hitting him. Tails didn't look back. He flies a few meters and sees a clearing there and puts it down.
Tails: You'll be safe here. Time to get back to Sonic.
Before he flew away, someone grabbed his hand. Tails looks at him.
Evelin: No...! Please....
Tails: We need me. I thought you were...
Evelin: Relax... Help me. Please.
Tails: Help me with what?
Evelin: Well, give it to him. That must be what he wanted, attacking you.
Evelin took out the chaos emerald.
Tails: Chaos emerald? How's that? How do you have it?
Evelin: It's a long story. Basically, that's what she wants to get. So I'm asking you to take it to hedgehog boy.
Then Shadow appears.
Shadow: What's going on, kid?
Evelin: What are you doing here Shadow?
Shadow: I'd say the same thing to you.
Tails: You two know each other?
Shadow: What's it got to do with you?
Evelin: It's a long story. The point is, you're taking this emerald to him.
Shadow: Why is that?
Tails: Nazo!
Shadow froze at the name.
Shadow: How did you survive?
Tails: We don't know yet.
Shadow: So Sonic is fighting him right now? Why didn't you say so?

At that point, two boys left. Evelin was left behind. Back to Sonic. Sonic is panting and Knuckles is on the ground.
Nazo: Well done now you're finished.
Sonic: We beat you once, we'll beat you again.

Sonic and Nazo start fighting. Knuckles looked at the ground and got up with difficulty. With great difficulty, Shadow and Tails got there.
Knuckles: Shadow, what are you doing here?

Tails: I'll tell you everything later. We have to find the rest of the emerald.
Knuckles: That's gonna be tough.
Shadow: Getting closer.
Shadow shows what he got from Evelin.

Knuckles: Sonic and Nazo are still fighting each other.

Shadow: Unfortunately, we didn't know how we did that.
Tails: That's too bad.
Knuckles: Fusion is complicated.
Shadow: Then that's how we'll beat it.
Shadow Tails and Knuckles help us in battle. Back to Evelin. Evelin to herself.
Evelin: That was a stupid idea.
Demon: More reckless than an idea.
Angel: I agree with Demon.
Evelin: Angel, how's the healing going?
Angel: Major damage has been repaired.
Evelin: Thank goodness. By the way demon are you glad you have a bigger opponent?
Demon: Pff. Come on. I could kick his ass if I wanted to.
Evelin: Sure, you could beat anybody.
Demon: Sure.
Angel: I'm ready, but one more thing.
Demon: This is a good start.
Angel: I've got the outside down, but not the inside. Fighting is not a good idea in this situation.
Evelin: How about we collect the rest of the emeralds?
Demon and Angel: Are you crazy?
Evelin: Until I'm back in my right mind, you can help them somehow.
Demon: I alone have destroyed the world.
Angel: Well, for once I agree with the demon.
Evelin: That the world must be destroyed?
Angel: No, that we can't let others do it.
Demon: Just kidding. World destruction would be too boring.
Evelin stands up.
Demon: If we want to find them, we have to know where they are.
Angel: I agree with you there.
Evelin: Then let's find them.
Evelin starts looking for the emerald. Demon and Angel follow her. She looks up at the sky while searching. Sonic and his friends are struggling. She smiled once and walked on. A few minutes later he found the remaining chaos emerald.
Evelin: Here we go.
Demon: It's a good thing I have it. We knew it would be.
Evelin: Yes, I agree.
Evelin falls to her knees.
Angel: You've made yourself strong.
Evelin: I did not. That wasn't it.
Angel: You've crossed the line.
Evelin: They're up there too. They're not giving up.
Demon: Evelin's right. We need to get back to them as soon as possible.
Angel: But in this state, she's bound to pass out.
Demon: Maybe, but we have to give it to them. Right, Evelyn?
Evelin was already passed out.
Demon: But we can't even move her. Body is submerged.
Angel: So what do we do?
Demon: We wait.
Angel: Okay, we wait.
Meanwhile at Sonic's. Shadow and Sonic are down on their knees. Knuckles and Tails are stunned.
Shadow: If we keep this up, we're finished.
Sonic: We have to get up or this will destroy everything.
Shadow: True, but we had a hard time beating him last time.
Sonic: We were one last time.
Shadow: That only works when we have the emeralds.
Sonic: I think it can work without it.
Shadow: How?
Sonic: I have no idea.
Shadow holds his face and then lets it down.
Shadow: Now what?
Sonic: A quick attack? He can't attack us while we're still fast.
Shadow: I'm in.
That got them up.
Nazo: You're still holding. Very brave of you.
Shadow: Then let's get started.
Sonic: I'm in.
They're starting to spin.
Nazo: What's going on?
When they finished they ran back together so fast that Nazo couldn't follow. Meanwhile, Evelin is up.
Evelin: What happened?
Demon: It was finally too boring this time.
Angel: Anyway, you're awake and one more thing. Emeralds to take to the boys.
Evelin: You're right. I have nothing to lose.
Demon: Let's go.
That'll get you running at light speed. When you get there, everyone's lying on the ground. Nazo was about to fire on them, but Evelin fought him off.
Evelin: It was close.
Nazo: You again? Who are you?
Evelin: I am the one who protects the innocent from injustice. I'm also called a patron saint sometimes. Sometimes I'm an angel in someone else's eyes, you're a demon in someone else's. My name is Evelin the hedgehog. You worm will die today.
A dark aura appears around her. Nazo senses it and steps back from her. Evelin's horns begin to sprout and she grows wings. It looks like a bat.
Nazo: What kind of monster are you?
Demon Evelin: Is a monster afraid of a demon? Or haven't you ever seen a demon, you mortal?
Nazo started to attack. Evelin defends all attacks with a holy glance. Suddenly Evelin hit Nazo so hard that he went flying and knocked down many trees. Evelin wanted to go after him but then a hand grabbed him. Looking back, it was Sonic.
Sonic: That's not you! I don't want to fight you.
Evelin could see he was sincere in his words and she turned back.
Sonic: I haven't even introduced myself, my name is Sonic the hedgehog and yours?
Evelin: My name is Evelin the hedgehog.
Sonic: The ones that are lying down.
Sonic points to the others.
Evelin: I'm sorry. I got here too late.
Sonic: No but how.
Evelin: I wanted to give it to you anyway.
She takes out the emeralds. Sonic was surprised.
Sonic: Where did you get this?
Evelin: Let's just say I got lucky.
Sonic: I see.
Evelin: I'll go and heal them before I go back.
Evelin goes over and starts healing Shadow. Sonic goes over to her.
Sonic: What are you doing?
Evelin: I'm healing him. Do you think I went here on purpose?
Sonic: No... Why are you helping anyway?
Evelin: I'm doing it all for Shadow.
Sonic: Because of Shadow? How do you know him?
Evelin: It's a long story. Basically, I owe him.
Sonic: I see... I can't do fusion without it.
Evelin: Fusion?
Sonic: Let's just say that when me and Shadow got together we became Shadic.
Evelin: I see, I guess. Fusion also means merging. Merging with someone who has a strong bond that makes you stronger.
Sonic: How do you know about that?
Evelin: I read it somewhere.
Evelin gets up and walks over to Knuckles and starts healing him.
Evelin: Without a plan it will be hard to beat. If you can't beat it, who will?
Sonic: We beat him.
Evelin: Not permanently. Even as Shadice, it's hard.
Sonic: Well, you're right about that. So what do we do now?
Evelin: We have to lock him up or destroy him.
Sonic: Lock it up? What do you mean?
Evelin: I don't know yet. Unfortunately I have no idea. I'm just thinking. Clever egg, do you have a better idea?
Sonic: No, but I'm not saying...
Shadow up too.
Shadow: What the hell is wrong with you Sonic.
Sonic: Nothing's wrong with me, nothing's wrong with you.
Evelin: Not to get into a macho argument, but there are more important things.
Shadow: Evelin is right.
Sonic: I agree.
Shadow: What are you doing with Knuckles anyway?
Sonic: Same thing I'm doing with you.
Evelin: I'm healing him.
Shadow: I see, thanks for the healing. Where is Nazo anyway?
Sonic: He flew away for a while.
Evelin: Let's just say we bought ourselves some time.
Shadow: Then he's gone a long way.
Sonic: I could do that.
Evelin: Really? I'll believe it when I see it.
Sonic: Now we just have to take the emeralds from Nazo.
Shadow: Easy for you to say. And the rest of it, we don't know where it is!
Evelin takes out the emeralds.
Shadow: How so?
Evelin: Well, let's just say I got lucky.
Sonic: All that's missing is Tails and Knuckles on the table, we'll go there and get the emeralds.
Shadow: How can you be such an idiot?
Sonic: Idiot? I am! I'd rather not let you waste my time here, you copycat.

Sonic is leaving. Evelin has finished healing Knuckles and goes to Tails and starts healing him.
Shadow: How can he be so idiotic.
Evelin: I don't know. Do you know him?
Shadow: Not an acquaintance, not a friend. He's my rival.
Evelin: Then why are you so afraid?
Shadow: Without him, the team will be weak.
Evelin: Right. He's too stubborn now anyway.
Shadow: Why are you helping them anyway?
Evelin: They protected me. It's the least I can do.
Shadow: I see.
Evelin has finished healing.
Shadow: Why did you stop?
Evelin: I couldn't heal any more.
Shadow: I see. You can only heal the outside?
Evelin: Not the inside parts too. Healing is finished. I can't heal more than that. That's how much I ran out of strength. I hope Sonic doesn't do anything stupid.
Shadow: I hope so too.
Knuckles should be up.
Knuckles: What happened? Where's Nazo?
Evelin: We bought ourselves some time.
Shadow: Idiot's gone.
Knuckles: Sonic?
Evelin: Yeah.
Knuckles: What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here...
Evelin: My name is Evelin and I healed you from your injury!
Knuckles: I'm sorry. My name is Knuckles.
Tails is up too. Evelin's reported the whole thing.
Tails: Now we need Sonic.
Shadow: I agree with the fox.
Evelin: I don't see it that way. You shouldn't get down on yourself. You're gonna lose for sure with that attitude. I'd rather you didn't fight. I thought I wasn't afraid of anything. I'd rather die bravely than cowardly run away. Sonic or no Sonic, I will not let Nazo destroy this planet.
Knuckles: Evelyi's right.
Shadow: I agree, we just need a plan.
Tails: We already have the plan.
Tails blows the plan.
Evelin: It can wait, but one mistake and it's all over.
Shadow: Then let's do it.
That'll scatter them. Evelin goes to find Nazo. Evelin thinks so.
Evelin: It can't be true that someone can be so stupid.
Demon: What did you expect?
Evelin: I don't know.
Angel: There's always a solution. Solutions are not easy.
Demon: Life isn't easy.
Evelin: That's true. But where will we find Naz?
Angel: If all true chaos comes from energy. Then why not follow the chaos.
Demon: No way! This is so stupid.
Evelin: Not a bad idea.
Angel and Demon: What?
Evelin: He only touched the chaos then we follow the trail of destruction.
With great difficulty, Evelin stopped. She produced in front of Nazo.
Nazo: Well, well. Here's the fearsome demon girl.
Evelin: Well, there's Nazo. Nice to see you again.

Evelin: Never!
Nazo went to her arm and kicked her with pure force. Evelin started screaming. Nazo enjoyed it and kept going. Evelin was screaming so much that tears were streaming down her face. Shadow Tails and Knuckles saw Evelin lying on the floor and Nazo started kicking her harder. Knuckles started to attack Nazo. Meanwhile Tails and Shadow went over to Evelin. Evelin was lying on the ground and motionless.
Tails: We're late.
Shadow: Shit.
Sonic got there and saw Tails and Shadow standing there. He quickly walks over and sees Evelin lying on the ground. Sonic rolls a tear down his cheek. Shadow and Tails looked at her.
Tails: Are you crying?
Sonic: No but how.
Shadow: We'll deal with that in the end. Time to end it for good with Naz.
Sonic: Let's do it.
Sonic and Shadow use the power of emeralds to physic again. They've re-formed into Shadic. Nazo noticed and they started to fight. After a long battle, they finally settled it. Shadic split up with Sonic and Shadow. Sonic still blamed himself for Evelin's death.
Sonic: Shit.
Shadow: Not your fault.
Sonic hits the ground.
Sonic: But it is my fault.
Tails: Sonic, it's our fault too.
Shadow: I agree with your fox friend.
Knuckles: She was the bravest one.
Sonic: You're right.
Evelin opens her eyes with difficulty and looks at them.
Sonic: She was even better than I ever could have imagined as a partner a fellow soul force for me. Unfortunately, Nazo took that away from me, or from us. I'm sorry I didn't get here in time, Evelin.
Evelin started to tear up at these words and started to moan as she spoke to him.
Evelin. You are not to blame. I was the careless one... I'm sorry I couldn't have been more helpful.
Sonic heard that and went over and hugged her gently. Knuckles and Tails go over there. Shadow stands there with a little smile on his face.
Evelin: Guys I... I...
Sonic: I'm glad you're alive.
Knuckles: Thank god you're alive.
Tails: Don't scare us anymore.
Evelin: All right, I promise.
Nazo incident two weeks ago. Evelin had to spend the night in a wheelchair. Tails escorts her out of the hospital.
Evelin: How did you get me out of Tails?
Tails: He's got some business he told me to come get you.
Evelin: I think I understand. As you would say, typical Sonic, right?
Tails: Exactly.
When he said it, Sonic came.
Evelin: Speak of the devil.
Sonic: Well, you know, we need a little drama.
Evelin: I'll give you drama so dramatic I'll kill you when I recover.
Sonic: Yeah, poor me. Save me Tails.
Tails: Not now Sonic.
Sonic: But he said he'd kill me.
Evelin: I was just kidding, silly.
Sonic: I know.
He gives Evelin a kiss on the cheek. Evelin looked surprised and her face turned red.
Sonic: Now all is well that ends well.
Evelin.
Sonic and Tails: What kind of stuff?
Evelin: Fusion on a stick.
Tails: And what did you find out?
Evelin: From what they told me, I found out how fusion works.
Tails: Very interesting.
Evelin: It's not just strong ties that can give you a boost. We want to protect someone. And that's not everything. It takes love to make it work. I also read somewhere that it takes respect.
Guys have been listening to Evelin's half of it.
Sonic: It's good that you're so aware, isn't it Tails?
Tails: I agree.
Evelin: I'm not a scientist. I'm seriously gonna kill you after this.
Sonic starts laughing. Evelin used the power of water and splashed Sonic. He watched Shadow from a distance. He thought to himself.
Shadow: This girl can surprise you.
With that chaos control, she teleported away.
