I've been on Patreon and then SubscribeStar for a while now, but I've realized that maybe SubscribeStar isn't for everybody. And that's why I'm adding a new option to support my writing: Direct Support.
It's what it sounds like -- no platform, no new accounts -- just dealing directly with me, instead of having a middleman in between. You can pre-pay for months at a time with Paypal or another online payment processor, and you'll get all the same tiers and rewards that are available on SubscribeStar, but delivered to you by PM instead of by SubscribeStar posts.
If you'd like to sign up, all you need to do is PM me and tell me 3 things: 1) Which tier you'd like to sign up for. ($1, $5, $10, $35, or $100) 2) How many months you'd like to sign up for. (You can do as much as you'd like at a time.) 3) Your Paypal address (or other payment method of choice). (Also let me know if you'd like to remain anonymous -- if you don't want your username on the publicly viewable list of supporters.)
Once I have that, I'll send you a Paypal invoice and then start sending you supporter-only updates by PM, right here on a website you're already using anyway. No other signups needed, nowhere else to check for updates! I'll also send you a message to let you know when your subscription runs out -- it will not renew automatically!
As an extra bonus, I'm offering a buy-two-get-one-free deal from now until October 31st! That means for every 2 months you pay for, you get 1 additional month at the same tier for free!
$100/mo tier subscribers have to wait months for their turn like everyone else, and I presume there is a limit on the Ks of words you will write in any given month/year?

Yes, I'm afraid so. (Otherwise people on lower tiers or no tier at all would basically never get theirs done, at the rate I go.) But I'm working on getting that wait time lower.
