I'm trying not to freak out but money is gonna be extremely tight in September. I had to put my 2 weeks in at my old weekday job at the beginning of August due to my mental health tanking there. My time was not respected, I was not respected, and one of my coworkers you basically had to constantly walk on eggshells around and I eventually broke down.
The good news is I have another job I'm starting. The bad news is that I don't start until the 8th of September. This leaves me with 2 weeks (My last day at the old job was a bit ago) without a consistent paycheck, maybe more since the job pays bi-weekly. I'm surviving on my weekend job (Which doesn't give me many hours, I work about 14-16 hours a week there) and commissions. I'm trying to do Instacart but it's super fucking slow and it takes forever to get a batch that's not putting you at a loss. I am barely making $50 a day. This is not sustainable.
Because of this, I'm opening emergency commissions. 10% off any of my commissions, whether it be a reference sheet or an icon!
