I'm getting so tired of seeing artists close out their accounts. I'm tired of the bullying of self-righteous losers from Twitter who think that they're somehow "purifying" the fandom.
Every worthwhile study shows that real life abuse of all kinds is less prevalent when people have healthy, fantasy outlets. And that's what Inkbunny is here for, right? We keep our cub porn here, out of the way, so people who don't want it, don't have to see it.
You know what does cause harm? The antis. I'm so fucking sick of wondering if somebody I care about is going to kill themselves or nuke their account because they got targeted for the next round of callouts.
Anti logic is hilariously bad. People have fantasies that don't drip into reality for a reason -- they're fantasies! Real life isn't a good host for fiction, we know that. :3
I wish this silly trend would stop. They claim to care so much about protecting others yet don't mind if real people kill themselves over drawings. I'm always contemplating deleting my account(s) because of people like this. x_x;

Thankfully I haven't had a problem with antis as I don't have much of a following. ^^ I also try not to commission people who might have anti followers just so they don't see any of my accounts or sonas. I'm pretty paranoid, but for a good reason!

It's really disheartening, hearing that a friend has died, then asking around trying to confirm if it's true and getting "well he was into cub so he's better off dead". Thankfully that was a long time ago and we have communities where that's largely not a thing, but it does seem we take one step forward two steps back sometimes.

It’s disheartening to see the kind of abuse people face online, whether it’s in fandom communities or public figures. In the sports world, even high-profile personalities aren’t immune to such treatment. A recent example is Kelly Piquet, who has been targeted simply for being the partner of Max Verstappen. For more on this topic, check out this article: Sports personalities. It really shows how far-reaching and harmful online harassment can be.
