if i add a thumbnail it doesnt show up anywhere,why??

If you go to post a submission, one the first page, there is a "Choose file" button for the picture you are uploading.
Below that, there is another "Choose file" button. This is for the thumbnail.

i did that i uploaded the picture and it still doesnt show up. idk whats wrong

the thing is that you need to enable the option of "show thumbnails" on your gallery xd so you can see it

but that's an individual option so it depends if other people have the option too
