I am change.
I draw because I love it. It’s my passion, my life, my joy, my sorrow, my light, my darkness, my love, my hate. I accept critique as much as I dish it out. I want to climb the tower to greatness, but settle in the middle. I want to be someone who knows what they’re doing but still has much to learn. I want to be the hero to the unknown and still a friend to the famous. Art shows me the world’s beauty so I may drink of its nectar, and all the world’s ugliness so I may look upon it with disgust. But I accept. Because that’s what an artist is. It’s not about pageviews, comments, favorites, popularity. It’s about becoming better than yourself a second ago, a minute ago, an hour ago, a day ago, a year ago, a lifetime ago. Revel in your imagination and live for it, let it become you. Don’t let your ego consume and turn you into something you hate. No matter what your skill: drawing, painting, photography, sculpting and the like, remember 1 thing.
