(Our clumsy yet sweet meeting)
Intro
Memories...are kinda funny. Sometimes things we don't wanna forget fade away quickly. And things we wanna forget don't go away easily...

I wake up with a headache and numbness all over my body. My alarm clock is ringing loudly on the table beside my bed. I turn off the alarm and get up from my bed lazily. "Another episode of me struggling..." I mumble. I do my daily morning routine and have my breakfast before I go to work. I grabbed my camera and left for my work.

I was taking wedding pictures for the engaged couple when suddenly one of the bride mates spilled coffee on the bride. The bride of cause understandably left furiously. The shooting is canceled and I am left with nothing to do. So, as usual, I go to the park near my apartment to take pictures of things that seem interesting to me.

I was taking pictures of random things like flowers and birds when something caught my eye. It was a butterfly with gorgeous wings. I approach the butterfly slowly to take pictures. "HEY!!! STOP RIGHT THERE!!". I heard people screaming so I look over to see what was happening. The boy carrying a guitar and running away from security while they scream and chase him. He bumped into me and we both fall over. My camera flew away from my hand and fall into the bush nearby. Before I get a chance to say something he runs away without apologizing. I was annoyed by that but luckily my camera is not damaged by the fall. I release a relieved sigh and tried to forget about what just happened.

My stomach began to growl, all those walking around make me hungry. I packed up my things and leave the park. I saw a crowd just outside the park. I go over to see what is happening. As I go closer I heard someone playing guitar and singing in the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. I look over the crowd and to my surprise, it was the boy from earlier. I lost in his voice and song. The way he sings and the way he plays his guitar is so amazing. After he finished his performance the crowd clapped. He thanks his audience. He seems to be very happy. For some reason, seeing his smile make my heart beat so fast. And my chest filled with strange feelings. He was talking to one of the people in the crowd and suddenly he looks in the direction where I am standing. His expression quickly changed from happy to guilty. The crowd soon left and he packed his things. I snapped back to reality and start to walk away too. Suddenly he pulled my hand gently. I look at him. " You are the one that I bumped into, right? I-I'm so sorry about that. I was kind of in a rush" He said. "oh no no it's okay... But why are you running from the security anyway?" I asked him. He giggles. " I was about to perform in the Park, and turns out I need permission to do so. I did not have it so I panicked and run away". He answered while rubbing the back of his neck. My heart beat even faster as he got closer to me. I don't know what to say back so we are just standing awkwardly next to each other. Sudden growling noise from his belly breaks the awkward silence between us. Looks like he's hungry too. "u-uhh I'm sorry about that. I haven't eaten breakfast or lunch." he said awkwardly. I noticed his ears turn red a little. "Ohh I was about to go to the restaurant too. If you want you can come along with me," I said to him. He looks at me cheerfully "Really? That would be great to have company," he said. We walk together to a nearby restaurant together.

We both sit down at the empty table at the corner of the restaurant right by the window. We both give our orders to the waiter and wait for the food awkwardly. He was looking out the window. I don't know what to say or how to start a conversation without making it awkward. So there's just silence between us again. I take out my camera and check the photo I've taken at the Park. He loom over and said, "Woah! Those are so cool! Did you take them?? Can I see??". He comes to sit right beside me and looks at the photos I've taken. He is so close to me. Too close. " u-umm right! We haven't introduced ourselves yet!" I said. "Ohh! Yes! Where are my manners? My name is Ari Nice to meet you!" he said and look at me. "I am Zii Rupez It's nice to meet you too!" I replied. "so are you like a singer? I saw that you can sing very well," I asked him. "Ohh no I'm just a street performer. But one day I will be on the big stage and become a real singer!" he said. "what about you? You must be a really good photographer!" he asked. "Not really. I've always wanted to be an Artist and a writer. But I couldn't even get a chance to start doing them so instead I'm stuck with this job I guess," I said to him. He look at me and said, " Hey, it's okay. I believe you will be an amazing artist! Just don't lose hope". I smiled and just thank him. The waiter comes and places our orders. We start to eat our meals. "Delicious!" he smiled and said while eating. I look at him. He is smiling and eating his food he doesn't even notice me watching him. Seeing his smile, My heart starts to beat fast again. I couldn't help but watch him. He finally realizes that I am watching him. "what's wrong? Is something on my face?". I shake my head and continue eating my food. We both finish our food and the waiter comes to check the total bill. I pay for both of us. Ari told me that he will pay but I insist on paying. He thanks me again and again. We left the restaurant. " Ohh before I forgot!" he said while looking for something in his bag. He took out his phone and handed it to me. "If you don't mind, can I get your number? I just moved into an apartment nearby actually. So I don't have friends other than you," he said. "Of course!" I said and typed in my phone number in his phone. After that, he goes to the park again for another performance. I watch him walk away from me while waving at me. I wave at him back. I felt lonely and empty as soon as he left. I shake off the feeling and walk back to my apartment.

I got back to my apartment room. I take off my clothes and put them in the washing machine and take a shower. I still can't forget Ari's performance today at the Park and that strange feeling I got when I saw him or every time he gets closer to me. "What are those feelings" I mumbled while taking a shower. After I finish taking a shower I have some hot ramen for dinner. I go to bed after having my dinner. My phone notification rings. I look at my phone and saw the message that is sent by unknown contact. I open them.
(Hi! This is Ari by the way.)
(I finished my performance and now I'm heading to my apartment now...*smile emoji*)
(Anyways, thanks again for the food! It was delicious! *Raccoon bowing down and saying "thank you" gif*)
I smile a bit.
(No problem! *Thumb up emoji*)
I replied to him but he doesn't view them. I guess he's walking on his way to the apartment now. I close my eyes and try to sleep but I can't stop thinking about the performance, his smile, and the strange feelings... I wonder what those feelings are.
Whatever those feelings are..., all I know is that I want to hear his voice again, and I want to see his smile again. I hope I meet him at the park again tomorrow. He'll be there to perform right?...........Right?
