Now Less Spam with Keyword Notices

Hi everyone

We have just made a couple of changes to the Community Keywording feature in response to feedback.

Previously it would give you a maximum of one notice per submission when new keywords were suggested on your account. However we didn't expect people to be getting hundreds of their submissions tagged with new suggested keywords all at once. As a result the new keyword notices could be very spammy.

So we have changed the system to combine all "New Keyword Suggestion" notices in to a maximum of one per hour, regardless of how many of your submissions are involved. As most of the mass keywording occurs in short bursts on accounts, this means you'll only get two or three such notices a day even if lots of keywording was happening on your account.

The second improvement is a "Mass Accept All" button on the Keyword Suggestions screen. This is the screen where you accept or reject keywords. You now have the option to accept every suggestion across multiple submissions at once.

We hope these improvements make the new feature even more friendly and usable!

Thanks

IB

We shall test that out, then! *submits some keyword suggestions for you*
Had a hard time finding anything to suggest, since you already keyword your submissions rather well. Maybe that's why. I considered suggesting "still_life" for your still life, but it was already in the title, so I figure that one's taken care of for search.

Haha! Some people are REALLY particular about tags in the I-must-tag-all-the-things sort of way.
