Why has no one addressed the fact that he dyed his hair like Joker?
He clearly knew what he was going to do, so why would he bother dying his hair?
He walked into a full theater during a Batman premiere while semi-impersonating Joker and shot up the place.
He surrendered and is now “sitting back and enjoying the effects of the crime”, as the lady on the news put it.
They have no other motive.
He’s smiling in the mugshot. Smiling.
Am I the only one seeing this?
The news interviewed one of his schoolmates and asked him if the guy ever showed any interest in Batman or comics. The friend said they never talked about it, but he’d lost touch with him years ago, and since then the shooter had undergone a drastic personality/social circle shift, so it really doesn’t mean anything.
I mean yeah, maybe it’s just me being a comic nerd, but everything this kid’s done sounds like something Joker would do. It seems pretty damn obvious to me that he was a Joker admirer and took his speeches in TDK to heart. He’s become an agent of chaos. He doesn’t need a motive. As a wise man once said, some men just want to watch the world burn.
