Firstly you need a relatively new GPU (5y old or newer) with more than 4gb of VRAM, preferably it should be an Nvidia GPU. Personally I am using 1080Ti.

Don't think of this as a replacement for you, but rather as a new and exciting tool that you can add to your skill set and use to improve the art you put out. It will take more time until better models and better interfaces for them are developed (using just words is kinda lackluster IMO), but already you can use what we already have to generate nice backgrounds over which you can draw your characters or generate the whole scene as a source of inspiration.

That said, you probably have the wrong idea about 4chan. Each board has its own distinct culture in the same way that subreddits differ from each other. /trash/ has pretty much the same vibe as this website.
