One of my favorite shipping dynamics.

I actually enjoy seeing that kind of fanart, and especially the ones involving Amy. XD

I dunno, maybe it's because it's a cute way to display affection to one's favorite character(s).

Everyone has their tastes, some dont like it because they're weebos or trolls or butt hurting good for nothing loosers who dont like to have fun and take stuff too serious

I like it mainly when an OC is paired with a quality character who doesn't have a love interest (or has a crappy one) by the time the series/media ends and can believably write them into the narrative without messing anything up.

I personally never really got into that. To me I see as another level of obsession with self-insertion or pseudo self insertion so many fan made videos mock about these So making fan OCs of my character. But that's just me.

Much as I want to enjoy such a dynamic, it seems to have the opposite for me... Most of the time worrying that I'm sparking some kind of drama over shipping two fictional characters, and with no reasonable excuses to defend myself other than "I'm just doing it for fun"... =/

Oh I have to agree! It does display affection for ones loved characters even if there is no "lore" behind it.

I for one don't really care about how my OC and Sonic (as an example) met since I don't see my OC as involved in the Universe and I don't really have an AU where I could do that (yet, maybe I will have one later on I dunno).
I do love the "story" the picture itself portrays though, or rather just the passion, love for one another.

Well or it's just absolutely raunchy fucking but even then there is some details and so on that one can think a bit into ^^
