The squid labs are going to be interesting to hear about for a bit. Then again... I did see the vid released. [It's Half an hour but it's worth it.] And I'll be glad to talk about the stuff in it.

And I'll be giving my thoughts on it. Here goes.
We get the opening moment showing Splatsvill, in the heart of the Splatslands. The research lab almost forgot to introduce themselves while telling how it's gotten fresher recently and how they got some new studies.
They get some Turf War info... or in a sense 101. Seems ink rolling can be used for some Defense. NOICE! The new stages are looking fresh. And the Greater Inkopolis are looking fresher too. The Museum, Hammerhead Bridge {which is finished}, Mahi-Mahi resort, looking fresh too. So we'll have 12 stages to enjoy and the beginning. Not bad. Though I got the feeling that'll be the salt people will spray.
Now for the weapons. All the base weapons are returning which is sweet. The Stringer is a new weapon. And a new weapon is a Splatana... cute curve on Katana. Meaning if you are a hunter, this is for you.
The new Specials mentioned is the Tacticooler. YUM... Buff beverage! Likely being in the back. The Wave Breaker might be a location trap for sure. And finally, the Reefslider is a cute trap for sure. Though you won't get them normally unless you get licenses that are different from the cash. You get them by level up and weapon usage. Nice. And he might be happy to give a weapon sooner than normal. So... what is money used for? Staying Fresh with style looks. The shops this time are Naut Couture for headgear, Man-o-Wardrobes for tops {cute name there.}, and Crush Station for your kicks {And not trying to make an MLP joke but it might be obvious here if you see the vid.}. ! Well, Murch is able to make us stylish and battle ready down to abilities. Noice! (we can set what load out is wanted.)
Now to the Lobby to see about battles. Anarchy Battles (Formerly called Ranked) is where Splatzontes, Tower Control, Rain Maker, and Clam Blitz (WORST OF THE 4!!) are returning and rotating too. To those that want to pick, I think CoD has been calling for you. Might wanna answer that. Though you can do it solo (and in a series of best of 5) or with allies in open with Private and the like.
In the Lobby, you can do the testing and warm up for the battle ahead. Nice. [And can join them for battles and team-ups. Sweetness.] And... Pokemon, look! You can look at battles look at other fights and the like and share it too. Take to that. :D And there's some personalization. Lockers. Your customization area. Sweetness. You'll know me in a way. (and Hotlantis is the place for all your customization. EPIC! Though whoever owns the shop...should have BEEN OUT OF BUSINESS! And the shop shouldn't be run by your own customers. Seriously?!? Good on you Harmony.)
You can do Splashtags with Banner customization, badge add-ons, and a few titles...in two parts. Got to keep it clean. And you can do poses on your victory boogie. And you can get them by Catalogs that can release for each for 2 years. Nice.
!!!!!!! Table Turf Battle. *Card gamer Hype spikes.* Various cards used and can even Ink up specials with over 150 cards. Deal me the HEX IN! (and of course, you need a starter deck... how can you play without somewhere to begin?!) I got to wait for that detail.
OK, Everyone. Time to get to work! Salmon Run Next Wave is coming into full function operations. And new Boss salmon are in the rotation. The Slamming Lid can slam down and the big shot is a launcher. And... NOW there's a new hazard. A King Salmon is about to wash ashore....and ...Oh gods.. the name... {Cohozuna like Yokozuna} I should have seen that -Censored- from a mile off. And by the look of it, the Big run can do places where the Inklings and Octolings call their own area. That's cold!
I'll Skip Story Mode for now. I'm not letting you get this one since I feel it's probably best to try it first.
Splatting Back in Splatsville, things go on a bit in the mailbox that shows off art or messages with vert support, Food and drink can be bought too...though looks like food tickets are required. Booo! The Shoal is the same as before. Photo Mode, you can take pics of yourself in the game and pose and show off or with others. Nice! You can do the Recon and check out a stage beforehand... GOOD no need for lobby jumping in a sense.
Splatnet3 is a skip since I feel this is something to see for yourself
Amiibo Support. Nice and can get some special stuff.
Post Launch Updates are now mentioned here. Along with those Catalogs are new weapons. X Battle and League Battles (2 Hour rumbles) seem to be returning. Paid DLC is planned too OH boy... wait until it comes out... I'm not jumping on this yet.
And we get to meet our new trio of hosts. Fyre (Inkling), Shiver (Inkling I think), and Big Man (Manta Ray) are Deep Cut, the hosts of Anarchy Splatcast. (Which can play in the background on your cellphones...shaped like sea cucumbers. Nice)
Splatfests... ARE now 3 Ways! Um.. *ahem*...that came out wrong. But now you can battle in 3 directions but if you are in first, your team is in for a time to defend your belt. since the other teams are aiming for your face. Can you take #1 or will you settle for wanting a second-place finish?
And the first Splatfest (triggered on August 27th!) is Jakenpon! What's your style? Rock, Paper, or Scissors. If you care for Rock, Go with Shiver's team, Paper is with Frye, and Big Man is on Scissors. Which team are you launching with?! I won't tell until show time but I'll say that's going to be fun for sure.
Well, I'll say that I'll be enjoying this game when it drops when I get a shot for it. Anyhow...Until the next time...
