I don't know if it can even be called a hobby anymore, with how much time I spend on it, but my writing is my life. I've written five novels, all sadly unpublished, plus any number of shorter pieces. A great many of my characters you see here were created for one book or another, and some of my adoptees have found their way into my writing as well.

Anyway. If we're talking in-universe stuff, most issues are really pretty trivial. People looking at you funny when you say you don't actually like carrots. People not understanding that no, you're not a hare. And keeping those pesky foxes in line. It's adorable when they think they're in charge just 'cause they have fangs. They're usually pretty sweet, though.

Oh yes, lots of both. We're both huge Alien fans, for a start, and can get at least some degree of enjoyment out of pretty much every film in the franchise, even the less popular ones. Though we both agree the xenomorphs were more fun when they were more of a mystery.
We're also both big fans of Terry Pratchett and Peter S. Beagle, and could probably list just about everything either of them ever wrote as a favorite. Special mention might have to go to Pratchett's Interesting Times, though, as that's how I got the girl hooked on his work.

- I'm weird an like only the one, and that fairly flat. I sleep on my back, and don't like to have my head pushed up too far as it gives me a stiff neck. I have several more for piling around me in the winter, though!
- Oh yes, plenty of times! Never for a special occasion, like for a birthday or anniversary, thank goodness. But Grace and I eat dinner every night, and I've burned the hell out of it sometimes. Then we laugh, cut away the really badly burned bits and eat it anyway. She's the sweetest girl ever.
