Posting my stuff @ other sites

by
Edit so apparently there are dedicated cub-threads on various chans, I'll admit I'm not a avid chan-user and I don't really know how to feel about my art being posted there.. For now: I guess it would be okay but I will probably wring my hands a bit about the thought >_>;

Hello.

So It has come to my attention that a sloppily made zootopia fan-art sketch I've done and posted in my scraps here and @ baraag has gotten legs of it's own and is now on rule34.paheal

While I'm not naive enough to think that random lurkers will respect my will - I will say that I don't like nor appreciate my content being posted on general art sites.

There is a lot of angry people with no accountability to what damage they can inflict let loose on the net nowadays because they refuse to differentiate between fiction and real life, and that risk takes an even greater jump when my specific content gets posted on sites with little control over what gets showed.

That being said - I think I owe my watcher a clear guide where it is okay to post my art

e621 is okay - mostly because for all it's fault they do have a default censor for non-reg users
OR any other site that is either specialized in cub/loli/shota content with non-reg censors, that would be preferable.

Any other sites with a free-for-all view such as rule34 sites or chans I don't like.

TL;DR
Keep it safe, keep it within IB, Baraag or any other site that is welcoming to this kind of content.

-Thank you.

This is interesting. I'm generally interested in your feelings on this. Can I ask what harm you think would come from having your art posted on a chan or r34?

I'm just curious as I to have debated on how to split my content from one account to the next like.. what I can post on here, on baraag, on Twitter. Do I want overlap with any of them, or should I restrict what I post so each has unique content regardless of rules. Should I have used different pen names for each lol... that kinda stuff.

It probably comes down to "better play it safe then be sorry later" defensive move. If any self proclaimed justice warrior or keeper of morals would ever call me out, I could just say "Then why did you go to that place and go the the lengths as you did to view said content to begin with?"

As I also believe most will just take this as a recommendation and not a obligation, that's nothing I can really enforce nor do I really want to, so if anything, this is like my official statement on the matter.

This, together with baraag, is my only accounts I have on the net when I comes to my art and it will probably remain so for the foreseeable future. However I do understand a lot of already established.. eeh.. can you call it mainstream furry artist? Anyways already established furry artist keeping their cub content seperate or even hidden because of the current cancel culture craze on social medias.

I wouldn't know what would be best for you, my default is always "keep it seperate" But I also guess that it's a question of how established you are also that you can have some sort of fuck-you-money and just float above that.
