I'm sorry but I feel like I need to say this, but I don't think you thought this through.
$3000 is an awful amount of money to ask for on a service like ko-fi. I say this since ko-fi is more of a tip jar service with people limited to the amount of money they can give at $3.00, meaning people who might be able to give you a large amount will need to buy several of them all at once. Ko-fi is fine for small amounts, but not for the sort of thing you're asking for.
Perhaps a gofundme campaign will be better suited to raising the money you're trying to get, since that way people can just donate any amount either small or large in one payment, rather then making several smaller payments each time.
