I am sad to announce that there will be no epilogue for Star Shia. This decision was hard, but I've had to make it for two particular reasons.
First of all, by the time of the last chapter, I have hit burnout with Star Shia. Once it gets to the point to where it feels more like a chore than anything, it's time to stop, really. Besides, I think the end of Chap 7 where they all go off into space never to return to the planet makes for a pretty good book end as is, without the need for additional epilogues for the characters like what :iconinfinitydoom: did with caon Sands of IRON. With that, he left a bunch of plot threads open that needed answering. Things like "what happened to Veera? How did Loona react to Shia? What about the Wallbreakers?" Etc. Here, things wrapped up rather nicely, more or less.
However, for those actually interested on what the Epilogues of Star Shia would have entailed, heres how it would have gone.
* Rai gets dumped onto a Penumbra World. He's being constantly stalked by hungry, non-sapient creatures. He's also implied to have been poisoned. He sits down to rest, only to find a bunch of glowing red eyes staring back at him. He laughs in crazy, and it ends there, leaving his fate uncertain and unhopeful. * Shia finds out the Nanites also prevent him from evolving, a side effect they didn't count on when they gave them to him (as they didn't understand evolution). Shia is disappointed, but Loona finds it very cute. * They reach the Eden world, discuss the crewmates and their new lives. Loona expresses both annoyance and interest in Eilumi (who is trying to get between the girl's legs) and Shia and Loona finally take it all the way in a healing water pool, with the latter dominating Shia hard and fast. * A few weeks later, Veera and Khaun talk about their training. She isn't doing very well in the physical training part, lagging behind Loona despite her jolteon speed. She is doing well in her online nexus medical studies to which Khaun is tutoring however. They get closer and closer, untill they're called to a mission on an Aether World (oceanic variety) where Veera plays with the dust/sand that only seems to fall vertically, forming small towers instead of mounds like 'normal' sand does. Khaun approaches and asks if she's ready to come back, which she says she needs a few more moments. Khaun sits with her, and they talk about stuff, enjoying the sight together, before Veera kisses him, and they make slow love. Basically, Khaun replacing Igon. * Some sort of mission that shows that life isn't all sparklejoy up here. Probably something that involves anti-slavery ops. * An ending orgy where Eilumi finally gets that 3 some he wanted. * A final hint as to what happened to the world they left behind. A noble runs for his life from a hidden enemy, citing 'crazy cultists' and that the 'apes' were supposed to help him. A voice calls out 'the banana can't help you here.' and he turns to see a robed figure. The noble draws his sword, and leaps at the robed figure, who draws his own glowing katana and they clash. There's a slash, and the noble falls dead. The last words are: 'Praise be to the Nexus.' (Hinting at Tarv's idea of the avali uplifting the planet through organized religion)
The other reason, and one I'm much happier to announce... Is that I have instead been working with Joao to create a new series, an RP that we have done that so far is much longer, and much more in depth than Star Shia could ever be. This one has been several months in the making, and for those on ID's discord already have access to it.
It is loosely based on the first story, Loonar Eclipsed, but one where Eilumi and crew never got the idiot ball and kept Loona around instead of sending her back to the planet, and instead decides to go look for Veera with the crew in tow. From there, things take a very mysterious turn, as new characters, factions, and issues make their way to the forefront.
Starting next week, I will be releasing this new series to Furaffinity and Inkbunny.
