If you don't mind me asking, what is so ass about the submission process? I only just recently submitted something and it wasn't all that horrible to pull off.

It's just tedious to apply tags honestly no "tags you've used before" kind of deal, or an "apply all tags" when uploading multiple pieces
but it's because I am on mobile uploading these if IB was more mobile friendly i'd stay but i dont seem to be getting much out of posting here anyways /woozy
place is just very dead lately and it's depressing

I suppose it'd be nice to carry over tags from another submission, especially if it's for a character type you've used in the past.
As for IB, it seems less like it's dead and more that people come here for specific artists these days than they do for other artists. The view rate wasn't what it was a few years ago though, I'll admit. Which is kind of surprising, since you'd think sites like this would get more viewership as social media grinds away it's own viewer tolerance.

yeah if you're a super prominent and well-known artist from a different platform, (of if you're paying IB money in donations) you tend to get seen a lot more than say someone under 5k on a different platform
you'd think with all of the censorship on other sites it would be busy here or on FA, no? shocking to see tbh

Yep, definitely seems a bit off-putting, social pressure perhaps?
Well, enjoy what you can on what platform you prefer. From what a dearly departed friend of mine would advise to another, one of the best ways to build a fanbase is to interact with it. And if you don't have one, interact with others who do have one...just don't go advertising your work while you do that, let it speak for itself if they have the interest to check your account page.

But that's another reason why I will rarely be on IB, it's so damn hard to find people to talk to normally. >:'( I only had like 1-3 people i would talk to on here, but i got super distant/too depressed to check this site after one of them passed away
(and i cant imagine advertising your work under people's posts without asking, that's the rudest thing possible smhh)
True pain is being unable to like a post </3 But that's another reason why I will rarely be on IB,
Heh, I don't find too much joy in liking a comment since that or even reposting isn't exclusively for a positive purpose.
Know your pain, I have a few things I should of posted here months back, but after a dearly departed friend of my own died I lost some of my artistic sheen to bother posting art on here. I do try to comment here and there but it's mainly been passive favoriting for me these days.
