With that said, I see a lot of people complaining that Mario isn't going to be voiced by Martinet in the upcoming animated movie. To be fair that specific voice of Mario wasn't made for long dialogues, it was made for short words and sounds. That voice speaking in full sentences and for long time would not only get really grating really fast but would also probably strain Charles's voice too much. Pratt was still a terrible choice though, they should have gone with Danny Devito.
