Why does it seem like Tim & Eric are choosing the line-up for CN these days; Random humor shows get additional seasons, good shows are on the chopping block.

T&E desperately need to Die Painfully In A Fire.

---edit---

And yes, I signed the petition.

I Completely agree. It drives me crazy. I'd imagine it is in part because a show like Thundercats that has high quality animation is much more expensive to make as compared to the junky stuff Tim & Eric do.

The thing is, I'll sign it because I like the show somewhat, but I wish it was better. I've watched every new episode with that itchy feeling that they're really not doing well. The writing just .... kinda sucks. The first episode kicked off so well, but the story degraded more and more into a random collection of events that happen along the way to ... to ... Oh right Lionel, we were on our way to ... what was it? Are we there yet?

Problem is this everlasting, ongoing chase sequence that drags on from episode to episode. Maybe I'm spoiled since Avatar: Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, those have near perfect writing, and the bad guys in there actually seem like they *are* a threat, rather than just a pest. Cheetara has to jump around like a bag of beans and whirl her magic stick, Lionel has to overcome every last pimple of his childhood to get the sword working just once, again, ... and so forth.

Not only do the baddies in Thundercats keep popping up like Wile E Coyote just to miserably fail again and again, resuming the drivel of catching up and getting beat again and again, they also feature storm-trooper marksmanship :/.

Turns out that the book of Omens is almost just as bad a MacGuffin as the truck and sword have been, too. They just work when they're supposed to. Just like the good old plot^H^H^H^H^ transporter devices in Star Trek did ;).

Look, I really want to looove this show. But it's just plain not that good :/. I want it to be, but it puts me off every time. Why do the kits have tails, but the adults don't? Do they cram those up their arses or cut them off? ;/

What did I like best so far?

The drama and envy between Lionel and Tigra about being king and about who's gettin' their greedy paws on Cheetara. And she takes her sweet time detecting the problem and helping the boys by picking one or none.
Guess it's just -another- love triangle but I guess that's a classic maneuver and every movie and series needs one.
Some of the trances of the old series have been much improved. The *thing* doesn't talk anymore. Good. Now it's just cute ;) and drags along. The kits can be very fun to watch at times. Cheetara is as beautiful as ever.

I better shut up about it now, sign the petition, and that's that :).

I kinda like the fact that their tech doesn't work perfectly all the time.  Sometimes when it does, they just don't get it, like the two episodes that passed before they figured out the book of omens pointing up meant they had to go into the sky.  Dammit, its broken, no it actually means go up.

And agreed the drama between their relationships is the best part of the show:  the love triangle (which evolves into the whole pumyra debacle...oh now I can haz girlfriend, no she's a zombie) and the brotherly rivalry, that was helped along by another bad guy.  I also love the flashbacks to their childhood and into the far past too.

The random episodes aren't that bad either, since in the first season they were very literary, with one being an homage to moby dick and the other being a thing on the futility of life (wha? existential crisis in a kid's show?)  And we now see this is turning more like a Flash Gordon type plotline, with one man uniting various races against a great evil to overthrow them eventually.

Also love the twisted characterizations of the baddies...the insane jackal is prolly my favorite in the whole series....introducing him in a straight jacket was awesome.  The vulture being a politician was cool too.

whoever is currently in charge of cartoon networks lineup should be put in prison IMMEDIATELY!and preferably put a furry in charge.
They are CARTOON network NOT reality TV network and yet stupid "shows" level up keep popping up and shows like T&E just won't die the're like a hydra you kill one and ten more show up in there place!
also they need to put TOONAMI on prime time again!

yeah, I loathe the action shows....they aren't even funny, and most seem to be headed by the same small group, who did they blow or what are they holding over the heads of cartoon network??
