Commission FAQ

I get a lot of questions that seem to fall under the same umbrella, so this journal is to answer those frequently asked questions, which I will then put in my commission sheet's description as well as my main policies journal.

What is the difference between a Wing It and a Standard Commission?[/u]
Short answer: The specifics.

Long answer: with a Standard Commission, you have the freedom to ask for anything you want in your commission (within my policies, of course)-- want a specific position? Specific story premise? Want the story to flow in a certain way, to hit certain points, or have certain twists and turns? You can do that. In a Wing-It Commission, however, you cannot have any of that; all you provide is your kinks and your characters, and the specifities of what your story entails is up to me and me alone. I may ask you for a setting example to get an idea of where you want your characters to be, but that's all.

When a kink considered too specific? What if I want [x] kink that requires a certain position?
Look, I'm not about to tell you what kinks you can and can't have in your story-- it's your money. As a result, I'm not going to be picky about what kinks you want if they're still within the realms of my Do's and Dont's. If you kink is the doggy position, you'll get it.

Can I commission a story that's a sequel of a previously written story?
Simply put, unless the story you want a sequel of is something you already paid for yourself before, or you have explicit permission from the commissioner (and can prove it), you cannot.

Can I commission a story containing someone else's OC?[/u]
If you have permission from that person and I see proof of that permission (usually), yes. Otherwise, I don't want to potentially upset people who did not consent to being in the story. All it takes is for them to contact me to say "Yes, I want to be in this story" for you to get the a-ok from me.

I want [x] kink that's in your 'Don't' list, can you write it?
No.

Can I get stories with your Fursona or main OCs? Can I commission you to do stories of your Fursona/OCs?
As of now and in the future, no. If I write Finn or any of my other OCs into a story, it'll be on their own or with close friends.

In regards to commissions just to see more of my OCs, it ultimately depends on the OC involved and how I feel about it, depending on what you're expecting of me. Enquire if you're interested.

What genres do you tend to write in? What are you most comfortable with?
I tend to write in Fantasy and Modern scenarios the most but I'm good with writing any kind of genre. The only one I'm not that confident in is Horror.

Can I tip you for a commission?
Yes, if you want to-- but there is no obligation to do so.

If you think there's another common question people ask (or you have your own questions in regards to commissions) then please leave them in the comments down below. I'll update this as more arise. Cheers!

No."

God, I feel that one. I shouldn't be surprised at how few people actually READ guidelines, and yet...

It stems way back to the f-list days where people would read your 'no' list and still ask for stuff on it anyway.

Been there, too. And even before. Hell, even before our time. People not reading things posted clearly is a long-standing issue in any retail... or restaurant... or anywhere, really.

I know, kind of an out of no where comment.  But!
Perfect example of this tonight.  5 minutes after closing time.  Guy knocks on the door and asks if he can come in to buy some tortillas really quick.  I say no, we are closed for the night.  He points and says come on I can see them right there.  I say well if you can see that then you should also be able to see the closed sign 2 inches from your face.  Go away, lol.
