Apologies for not being as active as you might've wanted me to be. There's been a lot of things going on in my life as of late. I wanted to give an update regarding an idea I had back in November 2019, which was a portfolio in a similar style to
As you may know by the lack of updates regarding the project, It's essentially been shelved until I'm able to sit down and work on it. I've always stated that its not going to have a deadline/release date, which is why I haven't established a pre-order system. I'd feel bad for taking peoples money for a product that doesn't exist yet, and probably wouldn't exist for a considerable amount of time, which is why I also didn't set a definite deadline, as that would raise peoples expectations too soon.
Given that its been almost two years since I posted the initial advert asking for your ideas, there's been so much going on in my real life that I don't even know where to begin...In these two years, I've moved houses twice, been between three day jobs, attended a wedding for one of my close relatives, and mourned the loss of another.
I'll be 100% transparent with you folks...I haven't gotten any work done on the portfolio. These past two years of being on Inkbunny has taught me a lot of things about being an artist; developing a distinct style takes time, and perfecting your artwork takes ambition, neither of which I have much of at the moment.
I'll be seeing a doctor soon to see if I can figure out what's causing me to be so unmotivated to work on my projects, because believe me, I want to work on stuff. My problem is whenever I open up Krita, I stare at a blank canvas for a half-hour, then close it down. This same thing happens for everything else that I do on a daily basis. Sometimes, its hard for me to even open up YouTube, which is the one thing I consistently am able to find some enjoyment in.
Once I figure out what's wrong with me, I'll do what I can to get treated. After that, hopefully I'll be able to have the motivation to work on artwork again. For now, I'll be on hiatus to try to get my life put back together. Thanks in advance for sticking around, and I'll see you all soon. :3
