I made a SubscribeStar page :O

Hello!

Since there was some interest regarding supporting my stuff via SubscribeStar (In my questionnaire) I've now opened a profile there:

Please have a look there for details if you are interested. It is obviously completely optional though. I will still upload vast majority of the stuff I make here. My current plan is giving subscribers early access to the stuff I release (haven't decided the delay yet but it's likely something between 2 weeks to a month) Additionally subscribers will also gain access to fullhd animation renders and full size 2d stuff. The free animations will still be good enough quality though. (720p)

All subscribers will also gain access to my Discord server where I will share wip stuff as I work on things and it can also be used to discuss art, sharing my future plans and ideas (characters, animations) etc. I will host some polls there as well which may affect the direction I'll go with my art. Unfortunately I'm kinda busy nowadays so I can't be there 24/7 to answer questions and such but I'll try my best to remain active. There will be weekly post on Subscribe Star but it may not always be a new artwork. There are separate tiers for people who might be interested in coming up with, or seeing some nastier stuff and my current plan is limiting those artworks to those tiers. By nastier I mean nastier than my usual stuff. Basically things where characters end up dead / visibly injured etc. There may be some exceptions to this rule depending on the artwork in question though.

I reserve the right to change the tier benefits depending on the feedback I get but that's how I've currently thought it out. It is more complicated than I'd prefer but we'll see how it'll turn out. If you have some ideas on how to improve the tiers or if you'd like to see some additional tiers, please let me know. There is also possibility that the automatic discord invitation system won't work properly. If so, let me know and I'll see what I can do. There may also be some other issues with this thing since I've never really done anything like this before so apologies in advance if everything breaks. D:

Anyway, with your support I aim to make more stuff more frequently. Hopefully one animation per month eventually (or new character). But I'm definitely going to release stuff more often than I currently do. Please keep in mind though that I have full time work which takes a big part of my time. If I fail to reach these goals I may suspend the subscriptions until I can properly continue or cancel the whole thing if it isn't really working out one way or another so there's always that chance.

I know this will upset some people but if this works out everyone should benefit from this by seeing more stuff from me. (if you consider that as a benefit) :) I also know that most people would probably prefer Patreon over SubscribeStar but Patreon prefers not having this kind of stuff on their page so that's something I cannot change unfortunately. Anyway, feel free to give constructive feedback about this. Thanks.

Well, unfortunately those are things that get most of negative feedback so it is a bit problematic thing. At least this way there might be more of that stuff made. I may reconsider walling them off in the future though. Or let the people who decide on them whether they want to show them publicly or not. We'll see.

And I'll have to see if this thing even takes off really. So don't worry too much just yet :)

You say not to worry after you've already said you're going to wall them off. And you shouldn't act on negative feedback on kinks. Inkbunny was made so that you don't have to see content you don't want to, so if they're complaining, the issue isn't with you drawing it, it's that they still choose to see it, and act like it's not their own fault. I mean the whole POINT of Inkbunny is that you have a place to put kinks that other people might not like. Remember, there are plenty of furs out there who have negative reactions to cub porn period.

Yeah true but making that stuff isn't my favorite thing. I mean, I like it but I prefer normal rough rape (which will always be free) so in any case it isn't very likely I'd come up with harder stuff on my own anyway. Except every now and then. But we'll see how things go.

That's nice to hear :) Most of my current stuff is R34 already but I'm considering doing more of my own stuff as well.

Sounds great to me! I always worried about you getting enough support given how much time and effort goes into even simple animations. I've been a fan of your animations for years now. I wish I could offer my support in a more financial way, but I'll at least provide my vocal support of you opening a SubscribeStar and using it as you need. Hopefully people will be more understanding than not about you getting paid for your time.

Thanks for your years of awesome content in the fandom thus far. I look forward to more!

Thanks for your kind words. I wish I could use Patreon for this but they clearly prohibit this kind of stuff. Doesn't seem my Subscribe star is getting that much traffic so at least the start isn't very great but I'm just starting this so maybe it'll go somewhere eventually. Got at least some subs though which is great already. :) But yeah we'll see how it goes.

My main motivator has always been getting interesting comments about my art but lately haven't really received that many comments either. Actually so far I got 0 comments on FA in my latest Mrs. Brisby animation which isn't very motivating. But at least I got some comments here which is nice. Dunno really what happened as I used to get much more comments years back. I guess it doesn't help that I make everything myself and aim for as high quality stuff as I can and thus take longer to make stuff. And tbh I guess not everyone appreciates classic old animations such as secret of nimh. Or at least porn made of it. Or maybe my recent themes have been too much for people. But yeah dunno really.

Yeah, it's a shame Patreon is being so weird about things as they grow bigger. I'm not a fan of that trend.

I've found I don't get even half as many comments on FA as I do here. Not sure why, since everyone talks about FA being the biggest furry site, but IB is far more talkative in my experience. As for your content specifically, it's hard to say why comments would wane, yeah. Maybe people leave less comments in general these days, or maybe less people are in the mood for hardcore content as a result of how difficult the last one and a half years have been in real life. I wish there was a way to find out these mysteries!
