The article makes good points, but just to add my two cents:
1) Kids attend Pride too. Do whatever you want at age-restricted places like bars or Folsom, but use some restraint when non-consenting kids are around.
2) Don't forget that our community includes asexuals. Pride isn't about sex for them.
3) For transgender people, Pride isn't necessarily about sex either. Their predecessors were fighting for their right to exist, not their right to have sex.
