Yeah, it's been forever since I last posted on IB. I've just drifted away for some time from writing and most arts and even now I've been inactive on the music scene for some time. With that type of inactivity, I think it's time I kinda did something. A lot has changed but I think I'm mostly the same artist?
Anyways, I'm not going to do free uploads for now for writes since I feel that I want to take my writing to a slightly more professional level and as such, make more paid-for content. I think I have a decent portfolio and have provided quite a bit of content for my viewers, and gosh I have to say I'm very grateful for the support x3
Now, I'm just wandering around, working on a series I'm not ready to reveal yet, and look around the market, sizing up the commissions and seeing more or less how much they cost. I think first I would need to request some character sheets once I finish the character profiles I made and digitalize them. I *might* post their first draft designs on SACREDDigital, but we'll see, I'm not much in the mood for digital stuff rn.
But yeah. The fact that I'm an nsfw semi-cub artist means that I'll likely have limited support when it comes to getting help on this series once I make it official (if ever), and there's a few reasons why I want other artists to help me out on the visual side of the series (aka, reference sheets, book covers, and future comic adaptations):
1. I feel that for my standards, my drawing skills are not anywhere close to where I'd like them to be. I can make the comic myself, but pretty likely it won't meet very much my quality standards without causing me to rage-quit, especially if I'm making it a paid-for product.
2. My time is limited and I want to be able to complete the series without going overboard with the amount of stuff I have to do. Again, I rage-quit when I overwhelm myself with something and never go back to doing it. Or when I just get bored of something, which also happens if I don't make progress. Currently, my workflow with my book has been pretty smooth and I'm already making some progress on the draft.
So, in a way, if anyone's reading this, yeah, I might be back, but I might go premium for good reasons. Sadly, my book is kinda in a grey area between being cub, and not being cub (because physically, they are, but not exactly on the mental stage, but sadly most people look at it physically), and since it's somewhat uncommon from what I know to see paid-for products, then I might have a hard time. Not to mention, I'm kinda picky with how I want my characters to be portrayed, so very likely finding the right artist will make me bleed money.
But this is just something that I've been doing in the background. I'm pretty seasonal, so it might take a while if ever to get a single product out. But we'll see. For now, I hope everyone's been alright and enjoying life.
