For this gallery, there's really no point in requesting to be friends. There's nothing I post here that gets listed for "Friends Only". So don't worry if I don't accept your friend request if I don't know you personally. It's nothing personal.
I have my small circle of friends, some closer acquaintances. And they're the kind of relationships that happen organically.
I've had some people try and open up dialogue in various notes here on IB, or DA, FA, and various messengers. But I am a quiet person by nature. And I can be boring unless we happen to have something in common. So a lot of those start awkward and go no where. (On the rare occasion I have been harassed, but I handled them.)
Please keep in mind, the majority of things I post here are commissions of themes that I have no personal interest in. I can still enjoy drawing, but I might not be passionate about the thing enough to want to spend time drawing them on my free time.
Illustration is my career and it's taken a long time and hard work to get to the point I'm at now. I am grateful for all my clients and friends for supporting me. I'm glad they all enjoy my artwork, and I feel fulfilled that I can make a living doing what I enjoy. Which is rare these days. It took me nearly 20 years to go from taking the occasional commission, practicing digital art, and building relationships to get where I am.
Anyway, thanks for asking. But unless I know you already, I likely won't accept your friend request here.
