First of all...yeah...I'm alive. Just been lurking around.
Recently I added someone with a very cute art style to my watchlist, said user even watched me back, but not long after that this person posted a journal saying he/she was leaving IB and deleting the few pics posted due to getting a lot of "hate messages".
That made me want to write this journal. I think I understand what that person was feeling, there's only so much hatred one can stand before wanting to run away from all of it. It's a shame I didn't even had time to say something thought I doubt if would have changed the outcome.
Everywhere I turn I seem to bump into furry-hate stuff, there I am listening to a completely unrelated podcast or watching a movie/videogame review and *BOOM* things like "death to furries" and "the furry disease" popup out of nowhere.
I've considered doing the same and deleting all my stuff a couple of times. I'm always concerned someone would use it against me so I avoid most sorts of online interactions out of fear, I already have near zero social interactions iRL now I can't even be on the internet in peace.
*shrugs* oh well...just wanted to let it out. Sorry for all the BS.
