I allways hated art class in school

It sound´s mayby crazy but I allways hated art classes when I was in school 1-9, I really liked to draw stuff, but in class you were allways forced to do what the teacher said werer suppos to do and just do that.

It was not that I wanted to draw, erotic art like bambi and stuff like that when, It was more like I wanted to draw with a regular Graphite pencils an papper, but nooooooooo, you cant do that , you have to draw with water colors paint and oilpaint and some horrible I don´tknow the word in english , but like soft clay pencill like mud, horrilble,

why could they not just let the children that accually wanted to draw something in art class be able to do what they wanted to do, how hard could that have bin....

oh well, that is some time ago ;)

Listen. Your content is great. You don't need to be a art expert.

that's why i hated art class too. you can't make what you want to make. you always have to do what the teacher says whether you like it or not. school is bullshit - that's all

i had an art teacher that i really liked. she let us explore our own styles. i really enjoyed comic style similar to old Garfield and Snoopy. i got pretty good at it too.

then i went to high school. got a dick of a teacher that threw me out of class. we where learning CLASSICAL art. and this? "comic" style is TERRIBLE.
jackhole ruined art for me, which was something i really enjoyed as a kid.

but,

I love your work, I know what you mean, not being allowed to be creative can make people hate the subject. The word you're looking for is charcoal pencil. I never felt stifled when I was in art class, I got to be creative, that's why I loved English class too.
